Question:

Is the fit - the suspension - adjustable? I'm 6-2

Answer:

We're happy to inform you that the torso length of the backpack is indeed adjustable to accommodate different body sizes, including yours at 6'2". To ensure a comfortable fit, it's essential to measure your torso length accurately. This measurement is the distance between your 7th vertebra (the prominent bone at the base of your neck) and your ilium (the top of your hip bones). Our backpack's adjustable torso length ranges from a minimum of 39 cm (15 inches) to a maximum of 51 cm (20 inches). Additionally, the waistband of the backpack is also adjustable to provide a snug fit around your waist. The waistband adjustment ranges from a minimum of 79 cm (31 inches) to a maximum of 136 cm (54 inches). Furthermore, the back panel of the backpack is adjustable with a release strap, making it easy and quick to customize the fit according to your preferences and body size. For the most comfortable and personalized fit, we recommend measuring your torso length and waist size using the provided guidelines before making your selection.

Very functional

Plus without its pockets on the belt at hip level and the net in the back, so as not to sweat and get wet.

I was completely clueless about backpacks when I explained my upcoming trip. The DĂ©cathlon Team's exceptional assistance played a crucial role in ensuring that my camping experience went off without a hitch.

magic back ventilation

very comfortable bag, and light enough. the shape of the back makes storage difficult and using a water pocket almost impossible. but with light and compact equipment becomes an excellent backpack. the ventilated back which is the origin of its defects is absolutely brilliant and worth it if you have the right equipment. a word of advice waterproof the brown parts. which turns into a sponge if you get caught in the rain. parts that will take a long, long time to dry.

It is not very well compartmentalized

Something expensive

A good trekking bag

I find this bag very comfortable!

Perfect backpack

I bought it for a one-day "blue" hike. I use it mostly in autumn and winter. I like the bottom compartment so you don't have to unpack from the top. All my spare clothes and the daily food can fit in it. 30-50 km is not uncomfortable with it. The storages on the belt are practical for small things. I would only modify the angle of one of the water bottle holders a little, because sometimes the 800 ml water bottle is in the way.

Good hiking bag

Good backpack, used on a week-long hike around Beaufortain loaded with 10 kg. Disadvantages: the passage for the water pocket hose is narrow (difficult passage). Using the rain cover crushes the hose so it is impossible to drink. The size of the bag is a little small if transporting bivouac items. Which was not my case.

Capacity

The bag has a 50 L capacity with an extra 10 L extension capability. The balls are then emptied into a graduated container in order to determine the equivalent volume in liters, with a margin of error of just a few %.

Weight

3.7 lbs. All inclusive.Weight of the removable rain cover 3.5 oz.

Air design

As with the MT900 UL line, the MT500 AIR range has a ventilated back structure with mesh fabric (net fabric) that helps the back to breathe and dries quickly. Rigidity is guaranteed by a reinforced frame. The back is adjustable with a release strap that’s easy and quick to use.

Materials

Polyamide main fabric 210D RS (Ripstop = increased resistance to tears), reinforced bag base (420Dx330D RS)

Recommended carry weight

According to the project for which this backpack was designed, we recommend you don’t load it above 33 lbs. Then you can benefit from all its features. Moreover, it’s not recommended to carry a load greater than 20-25% of your own weight and put too much pressure on your back.

How to pack a backpack?

Put your bedding at the bottom. Put heavy gear (tent, camp stove, food) near your back. Store your clothing around it. A groundsheet or tent can be placed under the flap or under the bag if there isn't room inside. Keep your waterproof jacket and fleece to hand. Place small items for daily use (sun cream, map, glasses etc.) in the pockets. The water bladder can be placed in the compartment provided down the back.

How to use the multi-use straps?

The new range of MT500 AIR and MT900 UL bags has two straps with open aluminum buckles (on the lower part of the bag). These straps let you hook on a tent or mattress under the bag or on the barrel. If not in use, these straps can be stored (by pushing them inside) in the hidden pocket intended for this or detached and used elsewhere with the lark's head knot buckle.
