The backpack is durable, lightweight, and capacious at the same time. It offers a great balance between weight and durability, has many pockets, and it's very comfortable to carry heavy contents with it. One minor issue is that the side pockets for water bottles/travel mugs are made of a delicate mesh and they can get torn very easily in the bottom.
If it was a smidge bigger, I could use it as a carry on on the plane. Otherwise fine and a good price when on sale.

This bag was bought to travel iceland with its pe rfect proportions (I'm 4'8) I find other backpacks to large for me this is just right
Perfectly made for my everyday use whatever the season
Neat little backpack, not too bulky. Carries waterprrof trousers and jacket, fleece, water bottle, biniculars and bits and bobs for a day walk. Weatherproof cover is useful, as is the walking pole loops. Chest strap could do with being a bit longer (I have a broad chest) and an external bungie/net to carry wet jacket etc. would have been helpful. Looks good (Blue and Camel) and feels well made and durable. Good value for money.
Perfect for a day on the hills. I wish the side pockets for the water bottles were slightly bigger but that is more of a personal preference.
I tried out various backpacks and chose this one because it has lots of pockets. Also came with a useful rain cover.
I love it because it has different size pockets and two small key rings inside for holding my keys. I use it for cycling and I find it comfortable to wear.
I bought this as my daily use manbag and was very pleasantly surprised when it arrived, much better quality than I was expecting for the price. It has all the features I need , especially a fitted rain cover, much needed at the moment and it has proved to be comfortable in use.
I bought this rucksack for daily use. I can fit all the things I need for work (including a small laptop) and lunch box inside, with pockets for a flask and water bottle. Very great value and I love the colours (I have the blue and camel coloured one). A great purchase!
This was just the everyday backpack I needed. I use it for going to work as a lecturer every day and it fits my mini laptop nicely plus loads of other stuff. I have to walk/cycle at either end and it does the job nicely, but would be good for a day hike as well. It's got an adjustable chest strap which really helps when it's heavily loaded. It's a good size; not too big but fits loads of stuff in. It has just the right amount of pockets and most importantly they are sensibly organised so the stuff I want to get to quickly (train ticket, keys) are right there, but my purse is safely stashed and not rattling around. It's tough, made of good quality material, but very lightweight, and there's even the bonus of a raincover stashed away in the bottom. I utterly love it. Way better than my previous much more expensive Berghaus which served me many years!
My 13 year old son chose this rucksack. It's a great fit and has a perfect selection of pockets and straps for him.
It arrived quickly, well wrapped and was just as it is in the picture.

How is volume measured?
The volume of each backpack is measured using a standard method: We fill the main compartment, as well as each pocket, with little balls. Then we empty these balls into a graduated container, which gives the equivalent volume in liters.
How to adjust your backpack?
1 - Loosen all the straps (straps, belt, load adjuster straps)2 - Put on the backpack3 - Tighten the shoulder straps4 - Adjust the load adjuster straps as needed
How to fill your backpack?
Put your heavy items at the bottom. Pack your clothes around these items. Keep your waterproof jacket and/or fleece within arm’s reach. Place small items for daily use (sunblock, map, glasses, etc.) in the pockets. The water bladder will be placed in the compartment provided along the back, and the water bottle in the outer flask holder pockets provided for this purpose.
Laboratory tested
We carry out several laboratory tests to validate the bag's components: fabric, buckles, straps, foam, zippers. For example, for a fabric, we test the resistance to abrasion and tearing, colorfastness when exposed to UV light and washing, and waterproofing. We also conduct tests to check the resistance of assembly using a dummy that reproduces the movements of a hiker to replicate several years of wear and tear on the bag.
