One of the best bags I have ever bought! So much room in the bag! The little cool bag at the bottom. The secret little waterproof mat on the bottom is a joyful suprise! Stretchy side pockets are ideal for the water bottle, and the bag can even accommodate a camel pack! Space for laptop or tablet. This is a must buy for all-young and old it's has something for all. Great price!

This is a great everyday rucksack and fantastic value for money! This was purchased assist me with getting organised for my walk to work everyday and its ideal! Lots of useful pockets including a cool pouch for my lunch! Its well padded and very comfortable to wear even when fully loaded. Would definitely recommend

I used this bag for half day/full day hikes and it is just the right size/weight. Lot of pockets inside outside. Comfortable and light. Very good idea the cool box compartment. The bag looks wear and tear resistant, time will say. I am missing an additional "belly strap" to avoid the bag to bounce when going down faster. To make it right a very good "day back pack" !

How is volume measured?
The volume of each backpack is measured using a standardized method: we fill the main compartment, as well as each pocket, with little balls. Then we empty these balls into a graduated container, which gives the equivalent volume in liters.
How to adjust your backpack?
1 - Loosen all the straps (straps, belt, load adjuster straps) 2 - Put on the backpack 3 - Tighten the shoulder straps 4 - Adjust the load adjuster straps as needed
How to fill your backpack?
Put your heavy items at the bottom. Pack your clothes around these items. Keep your waterproof jacket and/or fleece within arm’s reach. Place small items for daily use (sunblock, map, glasses, etc.) in the pockets. The water bladder will be placed in the compartment provided along the back, and the water bottle in the outer flask holder pockets provided for this purpose.
Developed based on your feedback, tested with hikers
This bag was designed based on all the customer feedback and hikers' observations. Indeed, the idea is to separate and keep your picnic cool when hiking, while separating it from other belongings (clothing, wallet, telephone, etc.). This bag has been tested by many hikers and has enabled us to test its functions and make a few improvements.
Laboratory tested
We carry out several laboratory tests to validate the bag's components: fabric, buckles, straps, foam, zippers. For example, for a fabric, we test the resistance to abrasion and tearing, colorfastness when exposed to UV light and washing, and waterproofing. We also conduct tests to check the resistance of assembly using a dummy that reproduces the movements of a hiker to replicate several years of wear and tear on the bag.
Eco-design
We used environmentally responsible processes and components to design this backpack. The inside fabric is greige (undyed) but retains its strength. The outer component uses a dyeing process that requires less water depending on the colors (dark gray).
A score for comparing the products' environmental impact
The environmental impact of the product is calculated over its entire lifecycle and using various indicators. A score from A to E is provided in order to easily identify the products with the best environmental performance by comparing products of the same type (T-shirts, pants, backpacks). Decathlon is committed to displaying the environmental information of its products.

It’s in France, at the foot of Mont Blanc, that our design team conceives, creates, and designs the Quechua products. We test them in the field with other hikers to make sure that they are comfortable and durable.
