Our new medium density pad
To ensure greater comfort in the saddle, we created this medium density chamois pad.The fabric is soft and breathable. The reinforced area is soft, with a density of 220.5 lbs/m³ and a thickness of 13 mm. The material is perforated for improved perspiration wicking. This pad ensures greater comfort on rides of up to around 2 hours
Its shape
The shape of the reinforced (thicker) areas was defined through tests using a seat pressure sensor cover, then designed by our garment designers using a mannequin, then validated through multiple washing tests and field tests. This test, conducted on real cyclists, involves measuring the pressure points exerted on the saddle. The thicker areas are the contact points where pressure is greatest. The dart at the front also lets it adapt perfectly to the shape of your body.
Reinforced areas
The ischiums are well covered, and the perineum is also protected. The reinforced area is relatively narrow between the legs to prevent irritation/rubbing while pedaling. Channels have been embossed into the reinforcements to provide greater flexibility.
Care tips
Machine wash at 86°F. Synthetics cycle. Turn the article inside out. Do not use fabric softener. Hang to dry in a warm, ventilated place. Do not tumble dry. Do not dry-clean. Do not bleach. Do not place on a heater to dry.
