Without being able to try these on in store, ordering online was a leap of faith - and I must say, I’m impressed! Out of the box, they felt good on the foot, and after testing over two walks (one road, one trail) they’re suiting my purposes well. Fit is good (for my foot) with plenty of room in the toe, and a heel cup that holds well. The sock-fit upper is very comfortable - I can’t feel any pressure from the lacing. There’s plenty of protection at the toe. The outsole provides enough grip for the light trails/stony tracks I’ll be using them on. They really feel like they enhance the heel-toe roll associated with Nordic Walking, and they’re remarkably stable (no lateral movement) on all surfaces on which I’ve tried them. The built-in debris gaiter works very well indeed, and the lace garage is a well-designed and useful feature. Weighing in at 573g (pair, size 7) they are heavier than other trail shoes I’ve used, but that really isn’t noticeable. All in all, they’re equally as good (if not better) than shoes from the likes of Salomon. I was a little concerned about the stretchy laces, but after two walks, they’ve stayed tied well. If I had to be picky, I’d like a little more cushioning under the heel, and perhaps a tad more arch support: but an after-market insole (Superfeet or similar) should resolve this issue (if, indeed, it turns out to be such). I’ve had shoes that cost four times more than these, and can say these are just as good! All reviews are, of course; subjective, and this is written after one day’s use (approx 12 miles). They suit me and my activity very well indeed - I hope they suit you. I’ll give my long-term view after several months use (c 250-300 miles or so.
Saw this on sale , don’t be put off by its color and design . What draw me to this shoe is the comfort and durability for this pair shoe . If you have width feet and need mid sole support for your daily walk, look no further this pair of shoe is what you are missing

The shoes is good for walking. But the sole has developed cracks in it in just 20days.
I take a size 11 normally and ordered same. Fit is very narrow and short and the hg e sole of the shoe inflexible

While buying I was in confusion but when I started using felt worth buying
I purchase this product 1 week before that time feels good but after 4-5 days when ever i remove my shoes they smells like hell !
Excellent walking shoes with good heel support and sole grip specially when raining when side walks are wet and slippery. It’s presentable and smart looking that I use it for work as well as during workouts. It’s an all rounder!

THE SHOES ARE PERFECT FOR WALKS, I PUT SOME 10KMS ON A DAILY BASIS WITH THIS SHOES. THE OVERALL COMFORT IS PRETTY GOOD. MY ONLY GROUSE IS THAT IT JUST COMES ONLY IN ONE COLOR, THAT SERIOUSLY LIMITS ITS APPEAL.
Biggest mistake that I chose this brand.. unbalanced.. Feeling cramps in my feet after a short distance.. So much disappointed after purchase.. Now local store advising me to purchase insoles... Friends never go for this..

Mainly designed for Nordic Walking purpose - That is why it has good grip and Stability. It has a hard bottom, because these shoes are designed to walk on the off roads and mud surfaces. Those who wish to walk on the off-road or who need better grip & durability, Ill suggest these shoes.

Been using these shoes from last 1 year very comfortable and flexible being 6ft 86kgs it handles all the weight n stress for walk or country hiking like a pro,wish they had more colour options though .
Left show of the pair has has uneven fitting near the ankle.

The pair is awsome. This is my second pair of quechua shoes and a delightful one as last one.
They are very comfortable and lazy.
The Nordic walk shoe is very comfortable. I've used it for 6 months and it's still in very good condition. Went to Melbourne using it and on days where I'm out and walked 30k steps, I don't feel any discomfort as well due to its good cushioning Definitely recommended. Probably one of my best buys with Decathlon

My nickname is NW 500 - cute, isn't it? I arrived in the stores in July 2017 on a little shelf of the department, reserved just for me! I may not have won a beauty contest yet, but I have everything a Nordic walker needs: top flexibility, grip for all surfaces and comfortable cushioning. The little extras? built-in gaiters to keep little stones out and a place for storing your laces and stop them dragging on the ground, so you don't lose time.
What is nordic walking?
Nordic walking is performed with special walking poles on all gently sloping surfaces to tone the whole body.

Nordic walking is good for overall fitness and can be enjoyed by everyone. It tones the body, improves breathing, helps with weight loss and strengthens the bones. Why is it important to choose a special shoe for nordic walking?
In Nordic walking, the heel hits the ground 1st and then the foot rolls through to the toes, which propel you forwards. Our shoes guarantee optimal flexibility and reinforced cushioning at the heel and under the metatarsals (the areas most used when walking).
*what is flex-h technology?
Flex-H technology is a system of 3 flex grooves in an H-shape located at the forefoot. Studies undertaken in Decathlon SportsLab have identified the metacarpophalangeal joints are both the flexion zone and the main support zone of the foot in power walking. Thus, our design teams placed flex grooves on both sides of this joint in order to help walking while remaining comfortable.
What pair of shoes should i choose in case of rainy weather?
Mesh textiles are very ventilated and are not fit for walking in rainy weather. We recommend the NW 580 shoes, whose fabric and treatment guarantee the waterproofing you need.

To ensure your feet are comfortable:
- Choose the right shoe size. When walking, you do not necessarily need to take 1 size up. - Choose a shoe whose shape is suitable for your foot - Adjust/tighten the laces to ensure your foot is supported properly and don't hesitate to re-lace your shoes during your walk - Avoid new socks when wearing your new shoes for the 1st time - Use socks that are higher than the built-in sock liner
