Lightweight and dry easily
Bought two pants from store, one was good another came with this defect in ankle thingy where it is supposed to tighten. I went on a with10 days trek with these 2 pants. When I used the second pant and tightened the ankle it broke. I came back, I washed it ( of course I cannot return it in the same condition). I went to the store to exchange, they denied saying it's a physical damage so they are not going to replace it. Please test that string in the ankle before buying it.

Light, comfortable and fitted well. The draw string at the bottom of the leg coped with the leg being too long.
Just purchased these pants after lots of searching and review checking I found these pants to be suitable for my intentions. Just went out in them and got caught in an absolute down pour! Safe to say I will be spraying waterproofing on these pants as I’m not entirely happy. And you claim to (reactivate the water repellent) by putting the pants in a tumble dryer for 10 minutes on a low heat yet it states to not tumble dry these pants. So what am I supposed to do!
Used this for 4 days in temperature ranging from 6° to -5°. Comfortable and re-usable.
Thought I’d give these a go having seen the reviews. Got them today, straight out on a three mile dog walk in a howling gale with new Marino long johns underneath. Very impressed. Beaded a lot of water off and dried very quickly. These will be perfect summer mountain pants. Wish cargo pockets were slightly bigger but left hand one was big enough for pair of seal skins gloves. I own two pairs of Fjallraven trousers and whilst their features are generally better, they are also vastly more expensive.

Used this for a Himalayan trek where it rained for a few days, very comfortable. Used two pairs over 10 days, not a single complain.

It’s a best brand and trousers quality is fantastic. Colour combination is perfect.
The elastic of trouser became completely lax after few weeks. Now i have to compulsory use belt with it.
Good for treks. Not good for snow treks.
Pants designed with 2 different components: - a durable fabric (7.3 oz/sqm) on areas that need protection from rubbing (buttocks, bottom of the leg at the front). This fabric is slightly stretchy, offering great freedom of movement - and a light and breathable fabric (4.4 oz/sqm) on the rest of the pants.
These pants have water-repellent inserts (bottom of the legs at the front, buttocks) that enable the water to slide off the surface of the fabric. Please note, this does not mean WATERPROOF. The water-repellent property prevents the pants from getting wet too fast but will not keep you dry under steady rain. For this, we recommend that you wear overpants such as the Trek 500 (ref. 8493660). Water-repellency can be reactivated by tumble drying the pants for 10 min on low temperature.
