Ran in the shoes on a ride and found then perfect.
So comfortable

Great biking shoes.....comfy, light and feels durable
Very decent quality. Best choice for beginners. Goggle "best cycling shoes under 50" and you will be surprised.
I now understand why cycling shoes need to be stiff, if they’re a little loose, it’s hard to unclip from the pedals. These shoes are great for beginners until you get used to the clips. You can walk with them and they’re comfortable. I suggest upgrading to a, stiffer pair once you’re ok with the clips.
They are for mountain bike, not road
Great shoes for starting out on road cycling, used them a few times on flat pedals, which was fine, then purchased some clipless pedals with cleats, very easy to fit, cut out rubber were cleats fit and away you go
I'm now due to renew these everyday shoes. They have been used for 7 years including 5 winters to work & back, approximately 16000 miles in total. Very comfortable and you can walk normally without sounding like a tap dancer. Obviously I used overshoes in wet& cold conditions. Longest ride in these was 80mile and were comfortable.
I was a bit surprised when I had to cut the sole off to fit cleats but once I did they were perfect for my daughter.
This is my 2nd pair I think they are excellent value for money. I have fitted SPD Cleats. They give good support, are comfortable and look good.
If you're dipping your toes into proper cycling you'll need to get your first pair of shoes. Don't make it these! If you're into cycling enough to buy proper shoes, buy proper shoes. These are not worth it even at the cheap price. Technically they are cycling shoes and you can attach SPD cleats to them but they are not rigid enough. If you decide that you enjoy cycling seriously, you will likely find that after approx 50 miles on a ride they give you absolutely unbearable foot pain every 10-15 minutes. They've been ruining my rides for months now and I now realise it's the shoes, not the cleats or anything else. If you ride short distances they're okay and they're stiff enough to feel different to trainers. You can also attach cleats to them. But there are lots of significantly better options available for not too much more money - buy a pair of those instead.
Very comfy very pleased with purchase
This shoes filled my need for shoes that fitted my large feed and providing mounts for SPD cleats all at a good price for a reasonable price
New to cleats. Seem to be a great shoe to dip your toe in the water. Not too expensive an investment if decide cleats aren’t for you.
