Product Customer Reviews

I purchased these shoe covers thinking they would be compatible with my Triban RoadC 100 Cycling Shoes. However, the shoe covers fit poorly at the ankle and lower leg area, making it difficult to close the zipper fully. The top of the covers seem too tight and do not wrap around the full diameter of my leg. These shoe covers would be perfect if they were slightly larger and had a better zipper.
Bought these to use for winter cycling and am very impressed. Tight at first but nice and warm over road shoes and just getting them back out for this winter
They don’t stay in place on your foot and caused me to fall off . I have thrown them away
First of all, I thought I was buying a different set of overshoes - it was only when I scanned them and they were cheaper that I had doubts. Must have been left on the wrong rail. These fit my shoes absolutely perfectly, however it's impossible to get the zip up more than a couple of inches. I thought I must have bought a duff pair until I came here and looked up the reviews for the pair I bought, rather than the pair I thought I was buying. They fit my shoes perfectly, so going up a size would just move the issue to one of them not being snug around my feet, rather than resolving the issue. Now I have to figure out how to get them returned, given I'm not planning on going past a store in the near future. I honestly cannot understand how these ever got as far as stores - I can't see how they'd properly fit *anybody*!
I really struggle to zip them up around my leg. I struggle to get a good enough grip of the zip to pull it enough to get the zip all the way up. Great for around my shoe but not my leg. But for the price I’m still happy.
Bought these to go over my Shimano RP1s. Purchased size 45/47 as shoes are Size 45. Easy fit around the toe but almost impossible to get more than a few cm of the strap sticking to the velcro. I would not say I had large calves but the zip would only go about a third of the way up. The positioning of the zip also makes it very difficult to get any purchase. It is as though the overshoes has been made from two different sizes. Am 'pleased' to note that a similar concern was raised by another person and wonder whether I would have had the same issues if I had aimed for an even larger size (but was not available). This was the first time I have purchased something from Decathlon that has disappointed. Normally their sizes and fittings are spot on and the guides very helpful. That said, you get what you pay for and I could have spent much more.
I have used BTWIN Essential overshoes for several years and found them 1)Easy to put on 2) Warm in all but the extreme cold 3)A good fit. Needing to replace my excellent Btwin Essential 45-47cm overshoes shoes which Decathlon have for some reason stopped selling I decided to try these. I visited my local Decathlon and picked a pair of XL 45-57 RR100 to try on over my cycling shoe. I was very disappointed with the design and fit of the overshoe. I discovered 1) The overshoe is not easy to put on and stretch over the heel of my size 45 shoe - this is probably because it is on the small side of the XL 45-47 size range 2) The design seems to have a small instep (unlike the Bwtin Essential shoe) meaning that it was not easy to pull the overshoe down the sides of my shoe and fasten the velcro strap to keep the material in place. 3) The ankle cuff is very small. This made it almost impossible to go around my upper ankle and also made it difficult to pull up the zip. Faced with this very poor fitting I did not buy the overshoe. for the following reasons a) Because it was a tight fit I suspected that all sewn and glued seems would be under stress and therefore prone to bursting open b) Because it was not possible to pull the overshoe down the sides of my shoe without stretching the material to its limits I suspected that the overshoe would not provide full waterproof/showerproof capability c) Because the zip was difficult to pull up I suspected that it would be under stress and liable to burst open and/or break whilst zipping up. Overall I was very disappointed. I also tried an XL 45-49 RR500 overshoe. It had in my view the same design flaws. The RR100 and RR500 overshoes in my opinion are a badly flawed design. I suspect that teh design maybe based on an italian style shoe last and therefore unsuited to the N European foot/shoe. Out and out racers who want to squeeze into the tightest of tight apparel may find these shoes ideal - provided the ankle cuff does not restrict the blood flow to the foot But for myself who takes a N European wide shoe fitting these overshoes are just not fit for my purpose.
Makes a great difference at this time of year, great price, excellent fit, keeping my feet warm and dry
Bought these for comuting, have used them before on other rides. Good quality & just as good as expensive makes.
I was initially in love with these overshoes, they're quite warm, and although it says they're not water proof, I can say they kinda are! I've ridden them a few times on heavy rain and after that the inside was a bit damp but my shoes were totally dry. They're easy to put on and stay okish. However, one big flaw resulted in the 1-star rating: They didn't last me a month! The plastic bit under the soles at the front of the overshoes started to degrade and then tore apart to a level they're not usable anymore! This is a ridiculously short life span for a pair of overshoes in my opinion. And I don't even walk that much on my shoes, so I'm really surprised they have such poor quality at certain spots. My last pair of overshoes (other brand) last me 3 years, so I'm faily disappointed by my new pair and wouldn't recommend it.
Hello. Thank for taking the time to review this product as your feedback is very valuable. The product comes with a 2 year guarantee so if you are experiencing any usual damage or degradation please do not hesitate to visit your local store to exchange for another pair.

Great fit well priced look good
I bought these to wear over my hiking shoes when cycling to work. Slightly tight fit at first but seem to have stretched to fit well now. Great value but not sure how long they'll last when worn every day.
Purchased size 45-47 for MTB shoes size 47 and Road shoes size 46. They initially seemed very tight, but after trying a few techniques I have now worked out how to put them on easily: - Put them over your feet before you put your shoes on and zip them up - Put your shoes on as normal - Hook the front of the overshoe over the front of your shoe and then pull down the back. They are a tight fit over your shoe and ankle, but this is to ensure water stays out and warmth stays in. Have used them a few times and they keep my feet nice and warm whilst not impeding clipping in/out.
A challenge to get on, but work well once they're in place.
I got a got a bigger size after reading the previous reviews. Turns out this size was small! It is very difficult to put it on but the material is good. It is tough to get decent overshoes, but get at least a size higher, maybe two and you could have one.
