Product Customer Reviews

This is a complicated one. First of all, it's a good concept. In reality, I really hate this pair of shorts, because it's uncomfortable. The pockets are too small to hold things you may need (gens, bards, etc.) and it does not hold its own shape. Having that said, I wore this in two important races and got good results. It served its purpose as a good concept in cold weather for competitive runs. Still, there's a large space for improvement.
Have been an M is running shorts in multiple brands. Bought an M and it’s not even close. Will have to return to the store and exchange
Has 3 layers, would rather have them without the inner lining. Otherwise the tight section is firm. Have used them for afl training and have been good.
Thanks for taking the time to review our Trail running shorts. We have several other option without the inner lining. Here are some great alternative styles.

Excellent product cheap and inexpensive it does the job lots pockets for water bottles keys and phone definitely a great buy!!
I originally paid $72 for a pair for these shorts. I liked them in training they are a great fit, good room for a phone in the back (Samsung 10). Plenty of room for snacks/keys in the 3 front and side pockets. I used these shorts running the 53km Archie trail run. I didn't chaff and the shorts performed so well. I've since brought 3 more pairs, when they went on sale recently.
Hi Archie
Thanks for your review and so happy they perform for your long trail runs, which is what they were designed for.
Happy Running

The product is made with good quality materials and fits perfectly.
shorts are fantastic comfy pockets work well great for long distants sizing comes in small but very impressed with the feel of the fabric value you for money 5 star
excellent product, plenty of storage, no shafing.
Typically I ordered M with a 32" waist, even in previous Evadict shorts, but these are very snug, already took the ticket off but heard the stiches popping just trying to get them over my hip bones. Inclusion of the compression style is good, much better than the previous trail ones. but I wish they would just ditched the switch pants part... but can be cut out.
They fit great, didn't realise I was getting the newer design but they work well enough. The only issue is the number of layers to them. You have the shorts outer, the lycra inner and then a swimming trunk type liner inside. It feels like overkill when the lycra will hold you and the shorts cover up your junk. I first tried them commando due to the number of layers but the liner caused a lot of chafing. I'm going to try with ordinary pants next but I have a feeling I'll just end up cutting the liner out. I can't honestly think that anyone is going to keep all 3 layers.
In theory these should be great, in reality far from it. I'm 6'2 and about 100k/16 stone, and wear jeans etc in a 36" waist, so with most running brands I wear Large shorts. Seeing some of the reviews saying how they can be a bit snug I went up XL for these but they still look like I've been poured into them. Have tried running in them but they're uncomfortably tight and I'm worried I'm going to split the backside out of them mid-run so unlikely to ever use them again.
I don't normally have a problem with shorts but these come up small! I can wear them. But would go for a size up next time for comfort.
I really like these shorts. They are super comfortable, the inner tights provides support and the built in carry belt holds a few gels, a small soft bottle and a phone. For hot summer runs they would be a bit too warm and the baggy version would be better but otherwise they are great. Size is as per the chart.
Basically the sizing is an inch or so too small all round. Great apart from that, but they really need to just be a bit more forgiving in the size and they would be perfect. Maybe introduce some inbetween sizes. 34-37 feels quite a gap when 34 is too small.
I was surprised that these shorts run somewhat small in size (waist and tights), because the similar product, EVADICT Men's Trail Running Baggy Shorts - Black, run true to size (or less small to size). There was a noticeable difference in the same size 34" waist in the two products. I reckon these EVADICT Men's Trail Running Tight Shorts run about 1" small in the waist (i.e. 34" would suit a 33" waist). Disappointing because the EVADICT Men's Trail Running Baggy Shorts are a great piece of kit. In contrast the inlaid stitched tights in these EVADICT Men's Trail Running Tight Shorts made my legs look like sausage meat, to the point of risking circulation. Unfortunately the next size up is 37", which will be just too big.

Lightweight anti-irritation tight-shorts
We developed the built-in tight-shorts to make you comfortable and deliver maximum undiluted concentration during your outings and trail runs. Its ideal length, neither too short nor too long, prevents your thighs from rubbing against each other. With the flat seams in its lining, you will not feel any irritation (for your full enjoyment). Soft and lightweight, it is ideal for trail runners seeking superior comfort during physical activity... For performance and admiring the countryside
Multiple pockets: clever storage!
Ideal when you think that you don't need a trail running bag, this built-in storage waistband can be used to carry your essentials. At the front, there is an internal pocket covered with a mesh pocket. You can put your phone in the 1st pocket and a 250 mL water bottle in the second. The large rear pocket, which is also zipped, can also carry a 250 mL water bottle. Finally, in the 4 side mesh pockets, you can store your gels, bars, tissues, etc.
Advice on staying comfortable when trail running:the built-in briefs (to be kept or cut out)
In order to ensure maximum comfort and save weight, these loose-fitting shorts lined with tight-shorts also have built-in briefs. These very soft briefs, which have minimal seams and are specially cut to be worn without underwear, provide excellent support. If you prefer to run WITH your own underwear, you can remove them and easily cut them out because they have been designed for this purpose. Furthermore, the crotch of the shorts has a stretch breathable mesh panel.
Great support for trail running comfortably
The waistband's drawstring can be used to secure and stabilize the contents of your 7 pockets around your waist when running. As a result, it will not move, you will not feel its presence and you do not feel compressed around the abdomen. In addition to its simple, elegant and timeless looks, the bronze color of the drawstring also matches the zippers of the 2 large pockets located at the front and rear of your built-in waistband.
Product testing
Tested and approved by amateur and seasoned trail runners over many years, these loose-fitting shorts lined with tight-shorts are extremely popular. Some of the best-loved features: the ultra-practical storage waistband, length and design of its anti-friction and anti-irritation tight-shorts, its comfortable, built-in briefs and its breathable materials offering excellent freedom of movement and keeping you dry.
