Product Customer Reviews

I've been looking for a flexible, zero-drop, low profile sandal. The shoe and sandal companies that advertise having these features are super expensive! I somehow stumbled on Dacathlon's website from my online searches and am so glad I took a chance on these sandals. There were only two sizes left, size 4 and size 5. The sandals came and (hooray!) the size 5 I ordered are the equivalent of an EU size 37. Perfect! The sandals are adjustable across both the ankle area and around the metatarsal area. The straps are very soft and do not chafe. I hope Decathlon will continue this style and get more inventory.
They do exactly what they are meant to. Lightweight shoe for camp. Take them in motorcycle tours to get out of the boots at camp.
Never expected to find a minimalist/barefoot sandal like this outside a specialist store or brand. It feels solid, and is definitely value for money. Would definitely buy this again, and hoping to see other minimalist/barefoot footwear on Decathlon in the future.
The fabric around the toes essentially keeps the sandal on, so it needs to be tight enough to keep the foot in place, but then it's tight enough to cause friction and blistering. I couldn't wear this all day unfortunately. A toe loop is needed to complement the front strap
I bought these to put in my pack when walking the Camino de Santiago. They only weigh 400gm so ideal for Backpacking.
These are like being barefoot. I bought them to practice my mid-foot strike. I used to heel strike, which caused foot and knee pain. I don't do long treks in these; I use these for building up my walking form and strength. If you heel strike when you walk, you won't be able to walk in these at all, so don't get them unless you're planning on changing that. Go by the EU sizes and then the smaller size if you're between sizes. I would like to see a new version of these next year with a few changes. I'm knocking off a star because the sewing of the X near the pinky was irritating me and needed to be covered with some left over ribbon I had. Pros: Great price Doesn't slip off Thin, flexible sole, but not too thin (it doesn't roll under your toes like other minimalist sandals might) Zero drop (for better posture) Cons: I think an all-black version would have looked better Cheaper construction than a £80 sandal (obviously)
If you are into minimalistic shoes or living a barefoot lifestyle or simply like walking in sandals then these are perfect for you. I have been wearing these for a over year solid. I cycle in them, walk, exercise and almost wear them for every occasion. Also a Nice colour and can go with almost all clothing. I will probably buy another pair when I have worn these down completely
It is a good minimalist sandal although something narrow should have been wider like 3 to 5 mm more wider to avoid friction on the fingers. It gives you a lot of freedom, it is very light and you can run and walk very comfortably. I totally recommend it for its price and convenience are nowhere to be found.
Pro - very light; durable for casual use; nice colour; simple design; great value. Con - wearing them for a whole day may not be comfortable if you have a pair of flat feet; half size is not available; not many choices of colours.
I was excited to try these sandals and as always with Decathlon they are great. I have been wearing these none stop for a month now.
I bought these in France and took them home to Australia. They’re durable, light and non invasive on the feet. Highly reccomend for those who prefer to wear nothing but have to wear something. Two thumbs up!
I bought these sandals because I travel and walk. A lot. The sole is good, issue is when you walk rough terrain, the front part of the sandal folds underfoot and during the rain, the straps take a while to dry and hence smell. I do like how lightweight they are though, but not sure if I’d recommend for uneven terrain.
Love this sandals specially for camping, lightweight and easy to carry, occupying less space in the backpack.
I'd purchased my first pair of these sandals about a year ago. They looked incredibly fragile and I had little to no hope that they'd last more than a couple of weeks. My first pair is still going strong today, and I've used it so much that the sole is now starting to wear out. Probably the best pair of minimalistic sandals for anyone who's looking to switch to a flat - almost ground like feel. Would definitely recommend it to anyone and everyone!
