Very good trousers, good fit, buy a size larger than usual
I was hoping for a pair of womens neoprene cropped trousers but couldn't find any so decided to give these a go. I am a size 10-12 and tried the medium. I would have loved these if they had had a high waist - come on Decathlon make some for women!
Despite using the decathlon size guide this is at least a size too small

habe Grösse L bestellt. ist viel zu klein. bei 1.80m und 83 kg und normalerweise 32 inch bei jeans passt dies überhaupt nicht. Müsste wohl XXL bestellen damit ich mich bewegen kann.

An den Knien leider sehr eng abschnürend und auch im Schritt unbequem. Deswegen habe ich diese wieder zurückgeschickt. An der Außenseite der Oberschenkel gibt es einen elastischen dünnen Einsatz. Das ist an sich eine sehr gute Idee. Besser wäre jedoch gewesen den elastischen Einsatz an der Innenseite zu platzieren und komplett bis zu den Knien durchlaufen zu lassen.

Main fabric: 90.0% Rubber, 10.0% Polyamide ; Outer fabric: 85.0% Polyester, 15.0% Elastane
Uv protection even when wet.
The fabric of this OLAIAN UV-resistant product blocks at least 98% of UVB radiation and 95% of UVA (UPF 50+). This guarantees effective protection from the sun. It can be used both in and out of the water, for water or nautical sports. UV rays are filtered by the density of the textile fibers, for long-lasting protection, even after washing. Caution: the spandex in the fleece patches may deteriorate in chlorinated water.
What does upf 50+ mean?
UPF is a sun protection factor (Ultra Violet Protection Factor) and is standardized worldwide. It defines the protection level of a fabric and more precisely the proportion of UV rays it lets through. To meet the standards, it must block at least 95% of UV rays. UPF 50+ means that the fabric blocks at least 95% of UVB and 98% of UVA rays.
Warmth and wind.
The minimum water temperature recommended for the use of these UV-protection cropped pants is 72°F if it is worn on its own. Max. session length: 3 hours. These cropped pants are made of neoprene patches for warmth.
Materials.
The anti-UV neoprene cropped pants are made of textile and neoprene to ensure better thermal insulation. The neoprene is lined with polyester fabric for added resistance to wear. Neoprene thickness: 1.5 mm. Neoprene is a closed-cell polychloroprene elastomeric foam with trapped nitrogen bubbles that have insulating properties. We test and guarantee the thermal quality of our neoprene materials.
Reduced chafing.
These UV-resistant neoprene cropped pants help limit rubbing and chafing due to contact with the surfboard or bodyboard. Our test protocols confirmed that irritation was indeed limited during 3-hour sessions.
Support and stability in waves.
The body-shaping waistband and the drawstring help the cropped pants to stay in place even when you fall off the board in the waves. We recommend wearing a 500 or 900 women's UV protection T-shirt (available in short sleeve and long sleeve versions) in addition to these cropped pants in order to be well protected.

Our UV protection products are designed to meet the needs of the most demanding surfers. Our design choices also make them compatible with other water sports such as swimming, kitesurfing, windsurfing, wakeboarding, water skiing, sea wading or SUP (stand-up paddleboarding).
Behavior when in the sun.
Although this product gives protection from the sun, phenomena such as reflections (from water, sand, etc.), heat, time of day, etc. must be taken into account. Wearing this product does not exempt the wearer from following the relevant advice: wear sunglasses, wear a hat or cap, regularly apply an appropriate sun block, drink regularly, etc.
