Product Customer Reviews

I love these especially when getting in to a cold car and daily wear in the winter for short periods of time when just need some protection from the elements
thin, soft, very comfortable but you will need to reinforce the fingertips as they wear through very quickly
Only real complaint is a bit of roughness on the inseams at the base of the fingers. These are excellent for use standalone for relatively mild weather conditions where you are simply out and about or running and serve as an excellent base layer paired with an overglove or mitten for more extreme weather.
They are cheap, they are wool and they are a decent glove liner. I got these to wear under some waterproof gloves to help if my hands got clammy. I also wanted the tech touch for when I took my older, but warmer gloves off to use my phone. The only problem I really had was that the index finger touch tech piece kept twisting around and I had to realign it constantly. I think they is an issue with the stitching or design... It’s pretty annoying. The price is great, but I think I’ll try something else in the future.
Peu utilisé pour le moment donc je ne sais pas si ils sont résistants
Bonjour Manon.

Works really well. Needed a glove liner to breath new life into my MEC vortex gloves these worked really well. Great price for Marino Wool. Light thin warm and wicking

A nice addition to keeping my hands warm within my big old fur mitts
Hi Tim,
We are happy to hear this product was a good fit for you! Looking forward to seeing you back in store again!

Most people would probably really love these. They are a bit big on my hands - so they seem like they fit, but shift and bunch in ways that bother me. And it turns out I really Really REALLY hate the seems on the side of the fingers. Otherwise they would be great for going from the car to the house, walking, or layering under gloves for real outdoor weather. I will give them to by fiancee since they fit his hands better and he isn't annoyed by the seems
Perfect light gloves for spring / fall or for winter running. Merino is good quality and well priced compared to most merino brands.
Hi Katrina,
Thank you for taking the time to write to us about your product experience, very few people have knowledge about merino wool & I also personally feel it's the best :)
We would really appreciate it if you could also drop us a google review, it will help others find out about our store easily: https://g.page/r/CfN9rpYl0dwfEAg/review
Wishing you a fantastic day :)

Perfect fit, colour, feel and quality for such an incredible price
These gloves are great for either mild weather or under other gloves for extra warmth. They still allow great movement under my florclaz hiking gloves which I use on my bike. Haven't tested them in extreme cold yet as I got them just after the very cold weather.
Good enough to wear on own. Fit my long fingers and nails comfortably. Second skin. I will wear under ski gloves and neoprene gloves. Will purchase another pair as hard to find this quality for the price.
Used only once, the rugged part between the thumb and index finger has largely disinterested by using walking poles for an easy 8mile hike at Seven Sisters National Park. Likewise, as this is a glove liner, I used an XL glove to cover these as the temperature dropped. Unfortunately the touch screen ability is reduced to less than 10% when using this liner under the Forclaz Adult Breathable Gloves. Not recommended if these are two features you're looking for. Otherwise the merino wool quality is decent, just wasn't good enough for me.
In the United Kingdom cold snaps it is only really suitable for a base layer for additional gloves when cycling for example
Good gloves for wicking moisture away from hands

What does the dexterity of a glove refer to?
The dexterity of a glove is its ability to handle objects with ease. Our liner gloves have been given a score from 1 to 5 in a laboratory study. The closer the score is to 5, the easier it is to handle objects as if you weren't wearing gloves. In particular, tests were done to measure how easily it is to get a jacket on and open it with these liner gloves.
Warmth
When worn under hiking gloves, these liner gloves will give you 3°C of additional warmth. This corresponds to the ambient temperature at which 100% of testers felt comfortable. For better protection, we recommend that you wear gloves over the liner glove.
How is usage temperature measured?
All our gloves are laboratory-tested using a thermal hand to determine their level of insulation and minimum temperature rating. The minimum temperatures for use (recommended and limit) are the result of a study carried out with a test panel of 23 walkers exposed to temperatures ranging from 5°C to -20°C and 10 km/h winds. These temperatures are only valid in walking conditions.
How to properly protect your hands from the cold
By applying the layering principle, you can optimise the insulation of your hands. Consequently, by wearing liner gloves in addition to gloves, several air gaps are created around your hands, which provide effective insulation from the cold. To achieve this, the gloves must be big enough not to compress your fingers. This is because the compression slows down the blood flow in the fingers, which prevents them from keeping warm.
Origin of the wool
We use wool from merino sheep bred on farms in South Africa that do not practise mulesing. We built a partnership with a group of breeders (Konsortium Merino) to guarantee respect for animal welfare and the environment. This means we have full traceability, which allows us to guarantee the origin of the wool. More information: https://www.forclaz.co.uk/
How to maintain your merino wool liner gloves
We recommend that you machine wash your Merino wool liner gloves at 30°C on a normal cycle, preferably with liquid detergent. Dry them on a flat surface, away from moisture and all sources of heat. This could damage the fibre and make them lose their shape. Never put them in the tumble dryer. For more information: https://www.forclaz.co.uk/
Warning!
These gloves do not protect against the spread of viruses or microbes.
Product testing
Our design team is based at the foot of Mont Blanc, in Haute-Savoie (France). All year round, our designers create and develop products that are appealing, simple, and technologically advanced. These are then ruthlessly tested in the field because we believe that the only way to continually improve is to test the products under the real-life conditions that you will experience.
