Had to buy this size but it’s too big. Great take it with you lightweight gillet
It is lightweight, 76g for a medium and rolls up into a built in pocket. This packs up small and into a tennis ball size which takes up half a jersey pocket, leaving enough space for some arm warmers and the remaining jersey pockets for other items. For the price, weight and packability, at the time of writing (2018!) this is worth a punt at £15! The only downside is fit on my right shoulder, for some reason it flaps at high speed. But that may just be my awkward body!
Excellent for the price Easy to carry when not in use.
Very light, packable and effective at keeping the wind out on the chillier days and the fit is good (not excessively 'race-fit'). It can be a bit noisy when travelling at speed, but that's a small price to pay for the comfort offered.
Bought this as a light weight wind stopper. As such it's proved to be excellent for the money. Packs away into its own pocket easily small enough to fit in a jersey pocket. Takes the edge off the wind chill when commuting or descending and provides good visibility. I'm 6'3" and 100Kg, the XL is a good fit can get on top of a base layer and jersey without restriction or being baggy.
For the price this is an excellent value lightweight gilet. Windproof and very packable.
The arm holes are massive, which in itself would not be so bad but the chest is also big meaning the arm holes hang off you a bit, causing an annoying and surprisingly loud flapping sound. This gilet is fine as long as you don;t wear it in the wind. The windier, the worse the noise is. If these issues were resulved, then this would be a corking bit of kit because it packs down incredibly small, does its job of keeping the chill off the chest very well and is quite inexpensive.
I searched for the right windproof gillet in the Womens clothing section and chose this one. I ordered Medium but had to return it as it was too small and the zip wouldn't fasten. I returned it and reordered extra large to be on the safe side. The replacement came very promptly and all delivery aspect was very efficient. However the extra large although fastening easily, is too big in the shoulders and I feel it must be made for a man and is definitely not unisex. I am going to try getting a Large because I like the lightness and feel of the material but it is not unisex as I expected.
Very useful, good value
I haven't tried this out yet just a bit too small . like most cycling clothing I would suggest you go one size up
Ideal for those chilly descents & early morning rides. Packs away nicely & fits into your back pocket of your cycling jersey with ease.
I was going to buy a cycling jacket, but decided I would probably end up overheating, so decided to use this gilet as a layer instead. I am very glad I did. This takes the edge off of the cold and wet mornings without causing me to overheat, and this has now become one of my most essential cycling articles of clothing. It packs up very small which will be great in the warmer months. This white is a nice colour too, though it would be even better if there were more reflective patches, or if the material itself could be more reflective.
Purely a review on sizing this. I'd read reviews on this being a very tight fit, so ordered up a size from normal online. It was like a tent on me. Ended up changing in store for two sizes smaller. It's the usual (obvious?) horses for courses. Want it proper road fit? Order your normal size, leaning towards the lower end. Want it flapping around like a granny's bingo wings? Go up a size.
Excellent gilet that packs down to virtually nothing. Makes it a no brainer for bringing out on early starts or where it could be cold at the top, plus keeping in your backpack for commuting. Mine did me proud for 3 years until I sadly dropped it out of my jersey pocket while going down the Col du Tirini. I've just come to this site to purchase another one!!! Nice race fit. A fraction of the price of certain other brands, but absolutely no compromise on fit, function, longevity. Its an excellent lightweight gilet.
Great value, keeps the chill off & perfect size for popping in rear pocket

Cool temperatures, wind that's a bit too chilly, or a hill descent? There are many times when riding that your jersey might not be quite enough. Our ultralight windproof jacket has been designed and tested based on just these issues. Designed to work in the many different conditions you can encounter on a ride, your ultralight windproof jacket stores easily in your jersey pocket using its ultra-compact fold-up pouch.
The "DEGREE" component is windproof, which gives our ultralight windproof gilet optimal protection against wind and chills. The DEGREE component was also chosen by our engineers for its ability to handle a water-repellent treatment. So in addition to protecting from the wind, this ultralight gilet will protect your torso from light moisture.
Beyond its windproof and water-repellent properties, the "DEGREE" component was also chosen because it is among the most lightweight materials on the market. Along with its compact pouch for folding and storing, these technical choices make this ultralight gilet one of the most compact and lightweight windproof jackets on the market today.
