I was hunting for a base layer and had the opportunity to actually try these for size in my local store, found it to be effective at keeping me warm on rides on cooler days, I've since bought two more.
this is my first proper long-sleeved cycling base layer and it fits great overall. My only comment, and question, is why such long sleeves - I have a size M, I'm 183cm tall, and yet I could take off a good 10cm off the sleeves and it would still cover my forearms properly.
I had high expectations for this base layer given the description and price compared to the other Van Rysel ones, but it didn't deliver. It says the racer series is meant to prevent sweating while keeping warmth. It doesn't to neither for me, I do sweat quickly and since it doesn't wick perspiration it just gets cold. Perhaps it is meant to be used in higher temperatures with lighter tops but so far at 1-5 degrees with a jacket on that's the result. I do prefer the much cheaper training base layers that wick sweat away and keep better level of warmth as a result.

Hab den Baselayer zum Rennradfahren und joggen. Wirklich atmungsaktiv und Feuchtigkeit wird abgeleitet. Deshalb einigermaßen warm mit weiterem Layer darüber und Jacke (z.Zt. ca. -5°C!) Außerdem in der Zeitung „Tour“ mit „gut“ bewertet-wie andere deutlich teurere! Ich bin ebenfalls begeistert!
Da die Arme etwas lang sind und auch noch extrem gestrecht werden können, bevorzuge ich den günstigeren Baselayer Training von Decathlon.. Der Stoff ist etwas fester, Arme sind normallang.
Eine Nummer kleiner gekauft als normal damit es als erste Schicht gut sitzt. Funktioniert hervorragend.
Kann nur gutes bis sehr gutes über dieses Produkt sagen. Es passt wie angegossen, habe allerdings eine Nummer größer gewählt als empfohlen, d.h., bei 190 cm und 90 kg wurde mir l vorgeschlagen, ich habe xl bestellt. Und das war genau richtig. Dieses langarmige Fahrradunterhemd ist sehr leicht und man spürt es kaum, die Aspekte Feuchtigkeitsableitung und Wärmeleistung würde ich mit gut bis sehr gut bewerten. Ein tolles Produkt, das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis würde ich mit sehr gut bewerten und von mir aus gibt es eine uneingeschränkte Kaufempfehlung.

paĂźt gut zur jacke
Angenehm zu tragen, leitet den Schweiss gut in die nächste Schicht. Für extrem kaltes Wetter ist dann doch übertrieben, da braucht's schon noch mehr. Aber als Baselayer mit Winterjacke bis 5 Grad absolut okay, speziell bei dem Preis. Super: Richtig lange Ärmel, die nicht rutschen. Shirt reicht bis ans Polster der Hose, damit keine Luftschlitze frei. Empfehlung.
Qualität und Preis-Leistung sehr gut. Vergleichbares Hemd von Löffler und Gonso besitzte ich bereits. Da bezahlt man ausschließlich den Markenname teuer. Es lohnt sich wirklich bei Dechatlon zu schauen. Bei nicht gefallen ist zudem ein Umtausch oder Rückgabe problemlos. Gruß Peter

Race range base layer
The Race Road Cycling Winter Base Layer was designed to meet the riders' needs during high-intensity winter rides. The major feature of this base layer is its ability to limit perspiration and overheating the body. There are micro-perforations over all warm areas to ensure perspiration wicking in the form of water vapor, thus preventing the fabric from getting soaked with sweat. Plus, its polyamide composition limits odors.
Directions for use
It's tricky giving advice on cold-weather clothing because it depends on how sensitive you are to the cold. However, there are 2 bits of advice that apply to everyone: - Don't wear too many layers as you'll lose the benefit of your warm clothing, plus you'll be uncomfortable.- When road cycling or mountain biking, you should always be a bit cold to begin with. You'll soon warm up when you've been pedaling for a few minutes, so starting a bit cold will be comfier in the long run.
The perfect combo
Most people find that a base layer under a winter jacket is what they need. It protects you from the cold when exercising, while also letting perspiration escape. If you tend to feel the cold, you could also wear a long-sleeve jersey, but this will stop perspiration from escaping. Instead, try different thicknesses of jacket, even if it means owning 2 of them.
