Just a replacement as had previous chain fora while without any issues
After 10 months (maybe 500 miles?) the chain had stretched by more than 1% and consequently wore out my cassette, which I will also now need to replace - except it is now very difficult to find HG50 9 speed cassette. I normally check chain length once a year and was surprised this had stretched so much in such a short time - I've previously used SRAM PC951, which have typically lasted 2 to 4 years. Very surprised, as the chain seems to be made by renowned brand KMC. The was item number 1463427 - the packet says x114 + x1, but I think it is 114 links including the quick link It looks like this chain has been replaced by one with more links, which I guess basically the same but longer so this review would apply to that as well.
Bought during lockdown for my 1999 mountain bike, I’ve owned it since new. Nice value chain.

I've been using these chains for over 2 years now and they last mileage wise just as long as chains that cost a great deal more.

Does the job easy to fit and good quality.
This chain should not be used if you intend to ride regularly. I have had this chain on my mountain bike for 3 months and its worn out. I've probably covered 200 miles and it's worn out. I have tried 2 of these chains now and they were both poor in terms of wearing out quickly

Great value chain, works seamlessly. First time I have ever fitted a new chain and all went smoothly
Needed a new 9 speed chain in a hurry and picked this up at Decathlon in Southampton. Was pleased to find that the chain in the box is actually a decent quality KMC Z narrow. Probably worth mentioning this fact in the product description. Very easy to fit with the quick link which is supplied with the chain.
