Used to air transport on holidays. Packed the bike with cardboard sheets and bubble wraps. Bike remained safe and had a great holidays.
Good bag. Only downsides you have to slide a plate across the bottom of the bag which is an arse. Plus the rock hopper St you have to remove the handle bars to get it to fit.
Good quality and looks ideal for transporting my road bike. I have a large framed, 58cm, road bike and it fits just about well, recommend lowering the seat post and possibly adjusting the handlebars. You will also need to source packaging form etc, as the cover does not include any to ensure your pride and joy arrives scratch-free, but all the DIY stores offer good options.
The photo was totally misleading... even with both wheels and the saddle removed and handlebars turned we just could just not get our sons racing sports bike into this bag... gave up ,repacked it and taking it back first thing

I've been using this bag for a couple of years flying with my mountain bike. Safe so far. Amazing value. It's an exceptionally well designed bag, considering it's low cost. Cool features: - It has a folding hard bottom - more protection. - Round plastic pins make it actually rollable! - Pockets for wheels with fixation. Put a wheel it and strap it with a velcro - no movement. Will protect the frame from the sides. I put some extra protection on the frame and forks - pipe insulators from a hardware store work best. I also recommend buying wheel bags and using them together - more protection and tidier. The only drawback compared to bags costing £250-300 - lack of the hard bottom - as mentioned above, it's folding. Its shapelessness makes it hard to leave it standing, for example on an airport bag trolley. But you can replace this with some DIY.
No issues so far. Would need a lot of padding for a flight but fine for car transport.
I take my bike everywhere with me, I don’t like roof or rear mounted racks, so I bought this to keep dirt, grease etc off the rear seats. Does a great job, good value
Great value, brilliant and rapid service. My bike packed away lovely inside the bag, I added some bubble wrap inside the bag and fame. It then traveled in a van from home in Gloucester to the Pyrenees, where I then built the bike back up with no problems. Bike well protected. Thanks again
The bag comes in a storage pouch so it can be rolled up and stored when not needed. The bag has a folding hard base which velcros into place. I used this to transport a road bike on a recent road trip to Scotland. It enabled me to put the bike on the back seat of my car and keep everything clean. Carrying it around wasn't too bad but I'm considering putting some wheels on the base. Be clear though this bag cannot be used to transport a bike on a plane or any form of transport where you can't place the bag safely yourself. There is no padding and no structure to the bag so anything sitting on it is sitting on your bike. But for my needs it was perfect and cheap as as well.
I bought this bag to allow me to store my MTB in the house without it taking up too much space or getting mud/oil everywhere. Overall opinion of the bag is very good, tough material, lots of pocket space around wheels etc... Although it's just not quite long enough to fit wide MTB handlebars in (about 1/4 of the bar pokes out of the zip). Also some additional hard inserts for the sides would be great.
I packed my hybrid cycle in this bag. Took the cycle from Southampton to Düsseldorf in flight. Was very happy that the bag served the purpose. Cycle was intact. Of course packing matters. But the bag is definitely worth the money.
Excellent product as it is a soft bag best used with some foam padding sheets or large sheets of cardboard The bag has inserts to allow this
THE USE OF THIS BAG HAS MADE, GETTING MY BIKE INTO AND OUT OF MY CAR MUCH EASIER. NO MORE HAVING TO WORRY ABOUT MARKING THE INTERIOR, OR WHERE MY HAND LUGGAGE GOES. BIKE IN THE BAG AND STAND IT AT THE FRONT OF THE LUGGAGE SPACE - SIMPLES!!! GREAT BUY AND A QUALITY PRODUCT. CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS ALSO GOOD.
Have used this to transport my Cannondale Synapse in my Mk7 golf. It fits nicely in the bag with the wheels removed and stored in the wheels holders on each side. There was no need to drop the seat. the bag then fits nicely whilst having one third of the rear seats still up/used. Has a stiff based and I wouldn't want to carry it for too far but for the money it is spot on.
Only used to store bike in car, not ideal as air travel bag but could be padded up if on a budget.
