Very comfortable on…

Very comfortable on country roads

The fault is bad luck?

The other day, a night bike ride, barely left and Pschitt already visited me.... after checking the side of the tire was perforated... a little disgusted after a recent purchase. However on paper this purchase seemed reliable to me.

Tire

Unfortunately after 3 bike rides the tire instead of 25 increased to 29 despite having inflated it less than what is written on the tire

Extremely complicated tire to…

Extremely complicated tire to put on the rim, surely a carcass or bead design problem to be completely reviewed, otherwise good tire for regular training, with good performance and resistance to perforation even on hot tarmac, allows a good angle grip and correct braking distance (skate on my Btwin af920)

Dangerous, tears

I mounted this tire, folding beads, on a road bike for outings on country roads. Inflated to 7 bars, no more, no less. After about 2000 km, the front tire splits in several places in the direction of travel. On each outing, I have descents and I drive at 60 km/h. It's super dangerous.

rate the Chinese batch here

I have already given a very positive review. However, this only referred to the Thai batch. Recognizable by the gray Triban logo. The Chinese batch, recognizable by the white Triban logo, is about 2mm wider (measured 27.5mm on a 17mm rim width) and can withstand significantly less. In addition, the tire is a little too loose on the rim and can jump off the rim if you suddenly lose air (happened to me, luckily at low speed.

A good product at the right price

Good performance tire with good puncture resistance. Safe for a low price

Explosive!

I mainly use my bike for commuting on the road, covering around 250km/month. After 9 months of service, i.e. 2200 km covered, while I was eating quietly, my tire suddenly EXPLODED. It is therefore necessary to change tires and inner tubes. I advise against.

Additional Product Information

Composition

Body: 30.0% Rubber - Natural Rubber - Latex, 30.0% Rubber - Elastodiene, 20.0% Polyamide 6, 20.0% Aramid

How to measure tire wear

To measure the wear on your road treys and to know when they need replacing, you need to inspect the tread. Signs of wear include: - tread starting to fray- the appearance of a series of micro cracks- low tread depth - the carcass becomes visible. In all these cases the tire is worn and needs replacing.

How to remove a tire

To remove your tire, deflate the inner tube until no more air comes out.Once deflated, use a tire lever to remove the tire from the rim.

How to fit a tire

To put the tire back on, place one side of the tire into the rim. Next, inflate your inner tube to approximately 30% before putting it into the tire (inflating it beforehand reduces the risk of pinching the inner tube). Then insert the other side of the tire into the rim, starting on the side opposite the valve. Before inflating the inner tube all the way, check to make sure it isn't pinched between the tire and rim.

How to inflate your tire correctly

Inflate your tire carefully. The recommended pressure is indicated on the tire's sidewall and its product sheet (available online). Before each outing, make sure that your tires are at the correct pressure for your ride.

Tip from the pros

When inflating your tire, make sure you inflate it to the appropriate pressure for the terrain you will be riding on and, above all, the weather conditions you will be riding in. When riding in rainy weather, lower the tire pressure to increase the tire's traction. When riding in dry weather, you can increase the pressure for better performance.
