Used for camera while snorkeling

Buoyancy not tested but practical for hanging the waterproof pouch around you.
This item was purchased to support me in kayaking and paddleboarding, in particular to ensure the buoyancy of my phone. First falling into the water, it is clear that this object does not float at all with an iPhone 11 194g + 45g shell at the end, i.e. 239g, therefore lower than the maximum buoyancy tolerance. I was lucky to be able to get my phone back - with great difficulty. I am disappointed with this item, the promise was not kept!
Use it with a waterproof bag for a safer feel!
A waterproof bag alone is of little use if it ends up at the bottom of a lake. This cord should always be sold with the pouches.
I bought it and used it as a mobile phone lanyard to disperse the weight of the mobile phone. Like it.
A simple solution is that there is a twist in the strap. I know it would be to make sure it lays flat on the neck and the pouch is not perpendicular to the chest. But it doesn't fulfill this function: it's a bit uncomfortable around the neck, and the phone also wants to be crossed. It should have made the designers think a little more.
I say it's an essential for water sports. If you really want to have your phone with you, take this cord. It does not necessarily prevent the phone from sinking but it CONSIDERATELY slows down its descent and above all the color allows you to see it even from 10m away underwater.
It's not bad, but it's a bit bulky.
Participate in S2O and hang it on your mobile phone. Because the cord is padded and thick, it will not hurt your neck even if it is beating all day long❤️
