Used in Niseko for 10 days of skiing with no complaints. A basic helmet is all we needed, and whilst it is basic the quality is OK. Good price.

My daughters wore these helmets ever day of our ski trip They were comfortable enough to wear all day, and they did not complain or want to take them off There is a size adjustment knob at the back to get the perfect fit Clip was comfortable and they had no trouble opening and closing the clip They work well with the Wedze goggles

Excellent
We got this helmet for our daughter, for our skiing holiday. Unfortunately there is insufficient padding and no padding at the back of the plastic adjuster bands. You can see in the photo they are exposed. My daughter had a fall whilst with her ski instructor, what she didn't realise at the time is, that the fall somehow made the bare plastic slice through her ear. She ended up at the medical centre with 6 stitches.I have the photos of the injury and it's a clean slice through the cartilage of her ear. We intend to take the matter further. In the end i purchased a far more expensive helmet in the resort, but fully padded. The plastic adjuster seems to have a lot movement up and down on this helmet which what the instructor and doctor think caused it. On more expensive helmets the adjuster has no up and down movement at all and a lot more solid. Spend a little bit more money and buy a better helmet which is fully padded.
Feels robust and lightweight, and the adjuster works well
Good, reasonably priced helmet. Does not have any padding inside, so for cold weather you need to put on a thin hat underneath, so make sure there is room for a hat.

My kids have been using their helmets for the past 10 days when skiing. Not only does it protect their head from scrapes and cuts it keeps their ears warm. Ok - we now know that helmets don`t prevent brain injury at speed, what they do stop however is the we lumps and bumps kids get when banging into others ski poles and fall against their friends. A good product.
We brought these for my nephews and they are fantastic, we really struggled to find helmets with quick dial adjust for them so when we found these they were perfect. The kids love them too as easy to adjust and keeps them safe on the mountain
Bought this for my 6.5 yr and fits perfect. He use it for roller blading.

Adjustment wheel
The adjustment wheel plays a key role in keeping the kid's helmet secure. This system can be easily and precisely adjusted at any time using the easily-accessible dial that you can even use with skiing gloves. It also provides comfort and maximum safety. Turn the dial to the right to tighten and to the left to loosen.
Abs construction
This type of structure incorporates an outer shell, made of ABS, injection molded to withstand powerful impacts. It combines durability with a significant capacity to withstand bumps and knocks. The inner EPS liner absorbs shocks in the event of a collision. We recommend changing the kid's ski helmet at least every 5 years unless it has sustained a significant impact in the meantime.
Standard en 1077
Standard EN 1077 is a European standard that applies to helmets used for cranial protection during downhill skiing and snowboarding. This standard tests the ability to absorb shocks and resistance to penetration. There are 2 categories: - Class A: Protects the top and back of the head as well as the ears and the side of the head . - Class B: Protects the top and back of the head, but does not cover the ears.
What size?
* Measure the kid's head circumference in centimeters (around the middle of the forehead and just above the ears). * Choose the size that covers this measurement. Example: the kid has a head circumference of 49 cm, so they should try a helmet in size 48-52 cm.
Fitting
Take plenty of time to try it on properly. The kid shouldn't feel any areas of discomfort. If they do, try another model. Always get them to try the helmet with goggles, because not all helmets go with all goggles. A helmet is compatible with ski goggles when there is no air space between the top of the goggles and the helmet.
Helmet adjustment
During practice, the ski helmet must be properly fitted and adjusted: * It is essential to choose the right size. * The head circumference must be adjusted using the thumb wheel. * The chinstrap must be properly adjusted. It's a bit like the seat belt in a car: if it is too loose, it will not perform its function and the kid will be less protected.
Safety
Avoid putting a thick hat under the kid's helmet as this will move the helmet away from their head and they won't be as well protected. Opt instead for a very thin beanie or balaclava that does not affect their safety. A helmet has good insulating properties. There is often no point in adding anything else. Also, avoid adding a camera to the helmet as this can affect safety. The standard does not take into account any elements added to the helmet.
Store returns
The helmets have a PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) classification. It cannot be exchanged. A ski helmet complies with a standard. We cannot guarantee that the purchased helmet has not undergone impact and therefore still complies with the standard.

Do not store in a damp place, near a source of heat or sunlight. Dry thoroughly before storing, preferably in a fabric helmet bag.
