Absolutely terrible product. waist is too tight legs are too baggy and shoe covers are unusable as they are way too large. Mine tore the instant they touched my chain. Awful product.
Thank you for your feedback regarding these trousers. I agree with you that they are on the baggy side. The item is due to be redesigned for this AW season. The next model up (the 500 series) is a different beast entirely and as a frequent user, I can heartily recommend.

Like the trousers just the size is too big for me. Already ordered a smaller size.
it's very tight around the waist (and I'm quite slim) but other then that it's alright, it's waterproof and that's what's important so it does the job, good price
Love these trousers
This is the second pair that I returned in store for refoud which was used by my friend and had the same issue: The product has stoped being waterproof after first wash.
Thank you for reviewing this product, I am sorry to hear that it has not lived up to your expectations. The product should be waterproof after being washed, though it does need to be with liquid detergent rather than powder.
The fabric itself is rated to 2000mm, if you are not happy with the trousers then please feel free to return them for an exchange or refund.

I wore the waterproof trousers twice for half an hour under a very light rain. After 10-15 minutes of cycling, I realized that my jeans were wet. Very disappointing, don't waste money on this product.
I'm sorry to read that your jeans got wet when using these overtrousers.
The fabric itself is rated waterproof to 2000mm on the hydrostatic scale but as it is not a breathable fabric condensation can occur. Saying that, if you are not happy with the trousers, then please feel free to return the item to us and we will gladly refund or exchange the item (whichever you prefer).

I was looking for a lighter pair of rain proof trousers and came across those at my local Decathlon. So far very happy with them
At a price which is so low as to be worrying, I purchased these on the basis that if they were no good, I had lost nothing. On first wearing I realised what a good purchase they had been. Warm, dry, easy movement and to a great extent unnoticeable when in use, they are just what I required. I will admit to not having used them, in extremely heavy rain, yet, but in the kind of rain I am willing to cycle in - they are excellent!

I bought this for my brother. He really liked it. The quality is really good. Perfect stitching, cloth material is also good. You should definitely go for this
Design of this model is very basic. For this model, a toe clip is the must since there is no tape to tie the lower part. Hence on my second ride only the right one came inside chain ring and immediately torn. I feel the design is faulty and needs immediate attention.

The lower part is designed to be loose as the this is an overpant which has to be worn over the normal clothes and also make space for boots or shoes. You might want to try the next size if the upper part is too tight.

Unisex sizing. 2XS/XS, S/M, L/XL. Good coverage for urban cycling. Integrated, elasticated shoe covers with elasticated ankles to provide shoe protection and good hold when pedaling.
Waterproofing
The material's durability, coating and sealed seams make the garment waterproof. A fabric's resistance to water pressure is determined by measuring the pressure exerted by a water column in mm (test based on ISO 811 standard). The higher the pressure, the more waterproof the fabric. Our component has a waterproofing resistance of 2000 mm and can resist the pressure from 2,000 mm of water (the equivalent of a rain shower lasting around 2 hours - 2.4" to 4.7" of rain in 1 to 2 hours).
Component breathability
Hydrophilic coating (RET = 12): limits condensation inside the garment. To find out whether a fabric is breathable, we test its evaporative resistance or RET (based on the ISO 11092 standard). The lower its resistance, the more the fabric lets water vapor produced by the body escape, and the more breathable it is. For example: RET < 9 = extremely breathable fabric / 9 < RET < 12 = very breathable fabric / 12 < RET < 20 = breathable fabric / RET > 20 = slightly or not breathable fabric.
Compatibility with a light
This product has 2 hook systems on the back of each leg for attaching a VIOO CLIP, an LED light that clips on anywhere and unclips in a second. With a red or white light that can be used in continuous or flashing mode, you are clearly visible from up to 120 yds. away. Battery life is 9 hours in flashing mode, 4½ hours in continuous mode. Easy to recharge via a USB cable (sold with the VIOO Clip).
