Very good shoes, much more comfortable than my SIDI, the kilometers fly by and no pain or tingling in the feet. The support, overall rigidity and pedaling performance are very good. The very practical clamping system.,
Good value for money, for the rest unbearable pain in 2 feet (little toe) from 60km, the material is far too rigid compared to my Spécialized.

They are super. So great that the black pair comes in addition to the first white pair, just to match the outfits and the weather. Very beautiful, comfortable, practical, they transmit the pedaling effort very well. The ventilation is indeed well designed even in summer. As for the price, elsewhere you have to pay double for this quality and this sober and elegant look.
Try it before buying. Very good value for money.
I bought these shoes as an emergency as mine had "opened". Obligatory choice given that there were no other models/numbers available at the Fidenza store. Good shoes
I have a pair of Spé S Works 7 and, for three months, these Van Rysel 900. So certainly, the Spé are better finished, lighter, have a Boa adjustable to the notch ready, and hold the foot a bit better, but... they cost 3.5 times more. Already traveled 2,500 Kms with my Van Rysel, and frankly I do not find many faults except the non-adjustable Boa. For the rest, it's full board: rigid and well-ventilated sole, easily washable quality leather on the top, perfectly positioned inner support pads and no discomfort over long distances. So far, not the slightest trace of wear. In short, these shoes are without equivalent considering their price. To try them is to adopt them.
Unbeatable value for money. Tested on several outings but unfortunately not made for wide feet. Systematic foot fire after 1h30 to 2h outing forcing me to stop and take off the shoe for a few minutes. I have tried several soles and cleat settings but without success. In store the 43 was too big in length, the correct 42 (I wear 42). This will be the return of the product suddenly. Too bad because the product is very good otherwise, the precise and super practical tightening, fairly light shoes. Unfortunately, there is no flexibility and the shoes do not stretch (and this is normal). Haven't had any tongue-related injuries seen on other reviews. I am counting on the professionalism of decathlon for a recovery now because the shoes, however good they are, are unusable for me and only a trial of some time can tell. That's what gets me a 3 rating.

Van Rysel Road R900 is an absolute top shoe, super stiff carbon sole, good fit, ideal for my narrow foot. Super interesting in terms of price, at the level of CHF 300 to CHF 400 models.
The inner artificial leather deteriorated fast (within a year). The rest of the shoe are in good quality and reasonable weight.
After 2 years of use, no major issues. Comfort OK with 1 size above. Be careful to position the upper tab correctly to avoid bending and therefore friction. Purchase 2nd pair without hesitation given the quality/price ratio. Mixed home trainer / road use
A little sore foot after 2 hours of cycling. Glad to leave them after the party
