Product Customer Reviews

Good value for money and very comfortable to wear
Touring bib shorts are comfortable. However, the sewing is poor. After first ride the seam of the shorts split and has unraveled causing the shorts to tear. Material of shorts is difficult to make self repairs with. Will have to send back to Decathalon as a product requiring repair.
Hi Sean, we are sorry to hear that the product didn't perform during your recent ride. Please bring them in our store and we would be happy to take a look to see what the problem is. Thanks
Jessie
Chamois is way too large on the sides causing it to cover the inner thighs and cause chafing. Not an issue of sizing 100% a design oversight.
Great products 👌
Size was good and I found them comfortable however I was disappointed that it showed a pocket which looks very useful but was not there on the ones I purchased. I will keep them though as price performance is good
This bib is comfortable and if you the measurements it fits nicely. Issue is that after a week of usage the seams are coming undone and this only got worst a month matter. Furthermore after less than a month already notice that the chamois is getting worn out on the front and back. Had a cheaper decathlon bib previously that lasted for three years and it’s in better condition than this which is not even a month old!
Good fit, comfortable on bike. All I wanted at a good price.
Fit well, good value
Comfortable and fit well .. loose enough for movement , as I am mainly using these for gravel rides .. so far a few hours in them with no issues
These came up a bit small compared with other decathlon cycling kit in the same size. Probably because of this, there isn't much additional stretch in them. Also possibly because of this, they are quite see-through from behind (as my horrified ride buddy informed me). Now relegated to solo turbo use. Pad is nice and construction is good.
Have persevered with these shorts for 5 months hoping that they would improve in comfort. However the time has come to admit defeat and consign them to the rag bag. The problem I experience is with the pad insert. The central groove provides a very uncomfortable pinching action and after a short ride of 35-40 miles, my underneath private parts are red raw.
Awful bib shorts, save your money and pay a bit more. Ripped down the seam (located in lower back) after 30miles. Also are extremely see through
Hi James,
I'm sorry to hear about the issue with your bib shorts. A tear down the seam sounds like it could be a manufacturing error, if you bring the item back into store with a receipt we'd be happy to refund or exchange this item for you.

The size of these shorts come up much smaller that the previous ones (I had to replace one set due to small size), and comparable quality is poorer. After just 4 or 5 rides with these shorts the seam has come un-stitched and split, so had to return. My much old set of these that have covered 1000's of km are still going strong, look barely worn and appear to be much higher quality. Always disappointing when a quality product goes down hill.
I've had them for about 6 weeks now. I ride endurance and touring. 100-130-mile days weekly, and 20-50 miles daily. No racing. Pros: the pad dampens vibration very well. The silicone grips are very good. Cons: Sizing is way off. I normally wear S or M, size 30 jeans; 5ft 7/10st (170cm/65kg) - and I ended up with L, and still just about tolerable. Should have gone for XL. Ridiculous. The cut is uncomfortable and unsuitable for road use - they crease up at the front, level with the pubis, and irritate the skin. Forget about the 'second skin' feeling - you will KNOW you are wearing these. Again, I don't race. If anything, I ride quite upright by road standards. The seams started to come apart within the first few uses - the outer ones in flatlock triples, so cosmetic, really, but it's only a matter of time others will start coming apart too, by the looks of it. THE WORST: the pad started delaminating - the fabric covering the gel started to come off. Now it creases up under the bum while riding, and you can imagine; it's like wearing underpants under the bibs. I ended up with a massive irritation on the last tour - luckily enough I brought a spare with me, of a different make. it would have ruined it. I have no choice but to return them - they are unusable, and it's likely it'll only get worse. The first badly designed and badly made Decathlon product I've ever had to deal with.
These cycling shorts are definitely worth the price! The padding is excellent and fits nicely where it should. The material wicks sweat well and is very breathable. I've completed numerous rides and centuries in them and they have performed very well. Only issue I had is sizing. I'm a UK medium for most shorts and also according to the size guide however found that the medium was quite tight. The large proved just right and I've had no issues since.
