Great jacket very cosy and warm love the colours. Great fit great length.
We ordered this for my sister in law, as she's leaning to sail. The garment is well finished and not too bulky so movement isn't restricted. We had some size issues but the customer service team were really helpful and it was sorted out very quickly

Waterproofing:
The exclusive waterproof fabric is guaranteed to keep you dry – even in a downpour. In the rain simulator, the jacket stayed for 4 hours under the equivalent of a 100 L/hr/sqm storm without the tiniest drop getting through the product. The component's waterproofing is guaranteed to withstand more than 5,000 mm of water pressure.
Hood:
The hood is easily stored in the pocket built into the collar. It is equipped with an adjustable elastic cord with two self-blocking eyelets to better protect you from the elements.
Hand warmer pockets:
Two big hand warmer, zipper pockets let you protect your hands from the wind and rain, and keep your accessories safe too. The lining keeps your fingers warm and dry.
Wrist adjustment:
The cuffs have rip tabs so that you can adjust the fit at the wrist and prevent air and water from getting inside.
Jacket fastening:
The injection-molded plastic front and pocket zips are oxidation-resistant, thanks to the special shape of the teeth. It has an exterior flap and a placket with a gutter that guarantees optimal waterproofing. The hem adjusts using an adjustable elastic with a blocking eyelet.
Jacket lining:
The jacket is lined with padding combined with microfiber to provide thermal protection.
What is breathability and the ret index?
Approved test in which your 100 warm jacket is placed under a shower simulating different weather conditions. All our products are certified fully waterproof having been tested for 4+ hours in rain of 100 L/hr/sqm to 450 L/hr/sqm depending on the product use.
Water repellent fabric:
The fabric of your 100 warm jacket is made water repellent by applying a treatment to its outer surface. This treatment causes water to slide over the surface of the fabric without soaking in. This prevents the fabric from soaking up water and keeps it lightweight, breathable, and warm. This treatment must be renewed throughout the garment's lifetime. Water-repellent treatment products are available in our stores.
How important is windproofing?
Protection from the wind is critical, as wind can chill the body significantly whether you are active or at rest. According to the "Windchill" model which measures the temperature felt depending on the wind and cold, if the temperature is 41°F combined with a 19 mph wind, the temperature felt will be 32°F. If the air temperature is 32°F and wind speed is 25 mph, the temperature felt will be 19°F. Your 100 warm jacket counters the windchill effect.

Product testing
The test re-creates storm conditions in a weather simulator. Under these conditions, after 4 hours under a torrential rain shower of 100 L/hr/sqm, our 100 warm jacket still kept the user dry.
Storage instructions
Store in a dry place, but do not leave your garment on a heat source such as a radiator, as this may damage the breathable coating.
Care instructions
Machine wash your Kostabero women's warm waterproof jacket at 86°F, inside out with the velcro fastened and without fabric conditioner. Choose a long rinse and gentle spin cycle. Line dry if possible. Occasional tumble drying on low for a short period of time will improve the water repellent treatment. To reactivate the water repellent treatment, you can also warm iron the fabric (max. 230°F) or apply the Tribord re-waterproofing spray.
