I am using Decathlon products since last 8 years. All are very good, durable.
It was good and affordable
My girls loved it
My boy loved it so much! It’s bigger than his fit but cause of the high cut it didn’t affect. In fact, it was better cause he doesn’t like shoes too fitting.
Thank you for your feedback.
Glad to know that your boy love this hiking shoes very much.
This shoe is designed for hiking in dry weather and on easy trails.
Do take note that the shoe size he is wearing must not be too big as to ensure optimum comfort when going downhill.
Just ensure that the foot does not slide back and forth during walking, and that's when you know that that is the correct size. Hope this helps.
Hope to hear from you again :)

My kid loves them
Great if you don’t want to spend too much on walking trainers. Took a while for the backs to soften, but comfortable now. I love the colour too.

The sole design is the product of a lengthy research process conducted in our laboratories, which has been combined with a special rubber formulation to optimize grip and traction. Given the variety of different needs, we always seek the best compromise for walking on muddy and dry terrain.
Get your child to try on both boots while standing up, with the socks they would normally wear for hiking. Check that they feel comfortable in the following 2 areas: the base of the heel and the front of the foot going downhill. There should be no pressure points when trying them on. Feel free to ask your child to walk around the store. Get your child to wear their boots over increasingly long distances during the first few hikes to break them in.
For hiking, don’t hesitate to take 1 size above your usual shoe size to ensure optimal comfort going downhill and prevent your toes from hitting the front of the boot. Advice: before any descent, keep your nails clipped and check that your lacing prevents your foot from sliding toward the front of the boot.
The comfort of all our shoes is tested when they are tried on and used by typical users under the real-life conditions you will encounter in use. Our Mission Tests bring together the product manager with people who are not affiliated with Quechua to test, develop and approve the products.
Other laboratory tests are also conducted to validate the following elements: tearing of the eyelets and straps, gluing, toxicology, UV resistance, abrasion of the sole and the components of the upper, accelerated aging.
