S1 screen
S1 means a light screen that enables you to see better in bad weather, fog or under the snow. We have selected a screen with a yellow or pink tint depending on preference to improve visibility of relief in bad weather, although it will remain low in those weather conditions. You must remain careful and not place yourself in danger in unknown and hazardous areas.
Antifogging performance
The "PERFORMANCE" anti-fogging system is a double lens with a treatment on the inside associated with a ventilation system on the frame that makes air circulate inside the ski goggles. To provide good ventilation of the inside of the goggles these vents must not be blocked with a scarf, for example.
Dual screen
Goggles with double lens to reduce condensation. Indeed, the air that is trapped between the 2 lenses creates a layer of thermal insulation. Thanks to this, the thermal shock between the inside and the outside of the mask is lower and it thus slows down the vapor formation inside the screen of the mask. To complement this, the inner lens is also given an anti-fog treatment.
Cylindrical lens
Cylindrical double lens, made of polycarbonate for the outer lens and cellulose polycarbonate for the inner lens, both cut to fit the shape of the goggles.
Compatibility with a ski helmet
All Wed’ze ski goggles are designed to fit perfectly with Wed’ze ski helmets.
Compatibility with prescription glasses
The G 500 S1 ski goggles in size L can be worn with glasses that are no wider than 130 mm. The foam on the sides and the shape of the skirt of the mask leave a passage exclusively for the branches.

The EN 174 standard is a European standard applicable to goggles used for eye protection during Alpine skiing or similar activities such as snowboarding.
Avoiding condensation
Moisture causes condensation. You must therefore make sure that the foam does not get soaked in water, e.g. by placing the goggles on a wet helmet or a hat. Falling face down in the snow can also cause your goggles to fog up. Whatever the circumstances, you must dry your ski goggles thoroughly overnight to remove any moisture and hit the slopes on the following day with perfectly dry goggles.
