Good for scuba diving and snokeling. Looks pretty in picture and works well. May need a few times before it doesnt get foggy (but it’s normal for masks)

I am really sorry that you had a bad experience with your snorkeling mask.
This mask has a unique textile strap to make it more comfortable. That's true that at the first place it's a bit hard to loosen or tighten. The purpose is to make it more stable once adjusted. It takes a few times to get used to it.
When you visit again any of our stores we will be very happy to show you how to adjust the strap in the easiest way.
If you still want to exchange it we can also do it for you.

Good Quality at an affordable price
Save yourself some money - these are about as effective as keeping water out as a pair of sunglasses. When they aren't leaking water they're steaming up - making it impossible to see anything. A complete waste of money.
Great product easy to use, lightweight and compact.
Very good value for money. This was used by myself and my 8 year old grandson on holiday and performed more than adequately; didn't leak or fog up.
Bought a couple of these masks and snorkels for our annual holiday to Cornwall. Fantastic value and comes in a nice handy carry net to protect the glass from scratches. Worked wonderfully and keeps the little ones amused in the sea for hours. nice wide elasticated strap is easy to adjust and holds the mask comfortably but firmly on the head. Unlike the full face, more elaborate and expensive mask, this snorkel and mask (medium size) is not so sensitive to different head / face shapes and sizes and easily seals against both my face (40 something 6ft male, average build) and my 9 yr old daughter. the seal is effective and comfortable and the snorkel bite pad is also flexible, making it comfortable for extended use without destryoying your lips and gums. All in all fantastic value for money and highly recommended. Just be ready for the absolute terror when the kids realise they share the ocean with other living creatures!!!
Love Decathlon, but was disappointed this time, bought 3 of these to take to Cuba, my daughter used one, wasn't too bad to start , but made her face very sore and then leaked a lot, my husband had a go with the other two, but found they didn't seal around face so leaked badly, so gave up with them. Complete waste of money, which we left in Cuba. Would have been furious as it would have spoiled our holiday as we snorkelled everyday, but for the fact we also had easy breathe mask which was fantastic. Wish we had saved the £30+ we spent on these and bought another easy breathe mask!

Valve
When freediving, water can enter the snorkel due to immersion or splashing. The valve located at the bottom of the snorkel makes it easier to expel water. Thanks to the valve, most of the water is drained from the bottom, which means the user does not have to blow out so hard. This is unlike a conventional snorkel where the water is drained from the top.
How to use the valve
Simply blow out gently to empty the snorkel through the valve. After breathing out, be careful when you breathe back in; inhale slowly as some residual water can remain in the snorkel. When in doubt, do not panic: Raise your head out of the water, and the snorkel will empty itself instantly through the valve. High-speed intensive swimming is not recommended as it can move the valve and cause water to enter.
Valve maintenance
Sometimes sand or salt gets stuck between the valve and the hard part of the snorkel, this prevents the valve from correctly lying flat and ensuring a watertight seal. In this case, simply rinse the snorkel thoroughly with clean water and check that the valve lays flat.
Mouthpiece
The part of the snorkel that is placed in the mouth. Its specially designed shape makes it one of the most comfortable snorkels for your mouth.
Snorkel tube
The size and volume of the snorkel are adapted to adult breathing.
Wave guard
The deflector is the part located at the top of the snorkel. Its curved shape creates a protection limiting the inflow of water through the top of the snorkel.
Sizing
Size M is designed for thin faces and the size L covers wider faces.
Silicone
Silicone is an extremely flexible material. A silicone skirt fits flexibly to the contours of the face, creating a watertight seal. The silicone mouthpiece provides increased mouth comfort.
Tempered glass lenses
Tempered glass is 2 to 5 times more durable than traditional glass. If it shatters, it breaks into small pieces, reducing the risk of a major accident.
Accreditation
Mask certified as compliant with safety requirements according to European EN 250 standards. Certified by the INPP (French professional diving institute).
Pvc-free
This mask and snorkel set contains no PVC.
