this sac works great as a day ski tour bag, ice climbing, summer alpinism. I've also used it for multi day ski tours but was very careful to only take minimal additional items (spare socks, underwear and toothbrush). I only wish it had a dedicated avi pouch like the 40+10 does. I put the shovel handle and probe inside the side zip instead. it even fits into budget airline carry on allowance of 45cm ... just. C'est super !
Perfect capacity and ski carry for ski touring in changeable weather in Scotland and Lyngen Alps as lots of room inside for spare layers/mitts/emergency bag, avalanche equipment etc. I've used it for summit camps in summer, climbing - a one day Cuillin traverse carrying rope and kit, food, water etc. It's so light I just take it now instead of my 25l hiking bag for summer too (except when I'm trail running when I use my Decathlon 15l ultra running style bag - lighter, tighter and more compartments for easy reach on the front). Back to this bag: Side straps work well with skis in A frame configuration. Cost is very affordable for this sort of bag. And it's 990g vs an Ortovox Haute Route 1340g bag for the same capacity for winter touring. 2 axe loops, side straps for skis/gear, more gear loops, sturdy construction, hip pocket, side zip, comfortable padding, 2 lid pockets. I'm writing this review as I buy my 2nd one as a Christmas gift for someone. I did a lot of research both last year into the best available bag for my needs, then did the same for this gift. And once again I'm buying this bag. 5 year warranty too - doubt I'll need it, must have used it on at least 50 days this last year or two and it looks almost new. So please don't discontinue this product, I'll be back in 25 years when this one wear out!

great bag, does all that you'd expect except for the chest strap, first time I used the bag the plastic clip that holds the chest strap to the shoulder strap came off the track, I managed to get the clip back on the track but because you cant fix where you want the chest strap to be it slowly rises up and ends up around your throat had to continuously pull the strap down and eventually it came off again! noticed that other reviews have mentioned this too
stick another brand name on it and it would sell at 3x the price. designed for climbers and mountaineers but also great for hiking and overnight camps.
Well made, good number of features and straps for a range of activities. Straps are comfy. It would be nice to have an extra small pocket or two but thats a small point. Compare this item to other brands that make a very similar product but at double the price, this wins hands down. I mean the guarantee alone make this bag worth it.
An excellent pack for walkers (although designed for climbers). Quality construction with plenty of features for carrying gear. Comfortable carry as well
This is the second Simond Rucksack I have bought, the chest straps came off when out on first walk.. Unfortunately I don't thing these packs have the same quality as other Simond products.

Sorry to hear that the Simond Alpinism 33 did not meet with your expectations. From what you have said it sounds like a defect with the item.
If you take it to your nearest Decathlon store, with a proof of purchase, you can exchange or get a full refund.
Would you be able to provide more detail as to exactly what happened with the chest strap?

Имах нужда от такава раница - с този обем и пригодена за зимни преходи. Все още не е пробвана в зимни условия, но направих един излет. Лека е. Удобна е. Добре проектирана е за носене на зимно снаражение. Забелязах дребен недостатък, който предполагам е резултат от предвиденото носене на въже под капака. Капака на раницата идва малко плитък и не покрива много добре горната част на раницата. Остава процеп, който е предпоставка за мокрене в лошо време, при това не беше препълнена раницата. Не е включен и дъждобран. Този тип раници не предвиждат джоб за бутилка от външната част по разбираеми причини. Но мисля, че не би било лошо да се помисли, дали не може да се предвидят няколко ленти за прикачване на тялота на раницата тип "моле". Тогава бих могъл да прикача от външната страна калъф с бутилка за вода, когато ползвам раницата в условия, позволяващи това.

капака не покрива изцяло раницата остават пролуки, но като цяло е супер много ми харесва заспа на гърба ми и за това оценката ми е 6+

Otestováno na rodinných výletech a vícedenním treku v českých horách. Skvělé jsou vychytávky jako magnetický zámek na kapsičce, kde je schována síťka pro rychlé odložení svlékaných vrstev. Praktický je také zip z boku, kdy není nutné pro vyndání hluboko uložených věcí přerovnávat celý batoh. Trochu problematická jsou málo odvětraná záda. Batoh perfektně sedí a dá se s ním i běžet z kopce a nenutí vás lehnout si na zem. Spodní popruh na upnutí kolem pasu je možná až moc úzký a při delším upnutí přes tričko je k večeru super když jde batoh dolů (to je důvod proč nebylo uděleno všech 5 hvězdiček za pohodlí) . Skvělé je výškové nastavení horního popruhu zapínání přes hruď. I při plně naloženém batohu nebyl problém vyjmout a znovu vložit hydro vak do kapsy na zádech. Materiál je pevný a vypadá že bude i odolný. S kompletní výbavou na 2 dny v horách se dá pohodlně vejít do 8 kg
Lehký, pevný. Jen chybí větší vnější kapsy na drobnosti a pití. Je určen na alpinismus, ale používám na běžnou turistiku a případně jako evakuační zavazadlo. Větší bych plný neunesla.
Batoh je s ohledem na tuto cenovou hladinu v dobré kvalitě. Na dně, vně spodku batohu by bylo vhodné umístit pláštěnku na batoh. Na straně bez bočního vstupu do batohu by se hodila ještě jedna kapsa, např. ze síťoviny na rychlé či dočasné odložení menších věcí, např. rukavic,apod. Kapsa na bederním popruhu by mohla mít o něco málo větší objem. Jinak povedený výrobek.
