Sie hält wunderbar warm und ist leicht. Hält sehr gut den Wind ab, auch im Halsbereich benötigt man keinen Schal. Die beiden Reißverschlusstaschen sind sehr praktisch, vor allem weil die Weste in einer Tasche zu verstauen ist. Das ergibt ein handliches Reisekissen. Diese Weste ist ein unverzichtbarer Reisebegleiter geworden.
Ist schön eng geschnitten, gut unter anderen Jacken zu tragen

Do you want to know more about the fill used?
We use 100% polyester fill (70% recycled) at 4.4 oz/m². The fill is made from silicon-coated spiral fibers that make it highly compressible and highly durable. Despite its low thickness and light weight, the air trapped inside gives it high insulation properties. It retains its warmth even when wet.
Do you know why the inner lining of your padded jacket is gray?
Because the fabric we use reduces CO2 emissions by 40%. The fabric used is innovative because it mixes a self-dyed black thread and an undyed thread. Compared to a conventional dyeing process, this process reduces by: • 66% fine particle emissions (PM2.5) • 74% Eutrophication of fresh water • 68% eutrophication of sea water

Durable materials
This polyamide fabric that uses 20 denier thread can withstand 20,000 abrasion cycles. Martindale test, 12947-2 standard. Outer: 100% polyamide fabric 1.4 oz/sqm, 20 denier Lining: 100% polyester fabric 1.2 oz/sqm, mix of 15 to 20 denier threads
Water-repellent properties of the component (not to be confused with waterproofing)
The water-repellent property of a fabric is its ability to make water run off its surface without absorbing it. This prevents the fabric from soaking up water and keeps it lightweight and warm. The fabric is made water-repellent by treating its outer surface; however, this property may deteriorate with use. We recommend that you renew after each wash.
Pfc-free water-repellent treatment
On the Trek 100 sleeveless jacket, the water-repellent treatment doesn't contain PFCs (perfluorocarbons), i.e. it is PFC-Free. PFCs are used to make a fabric water-repellent, but they are very toxic for the environment and people. By replacing the PFCs with other technologies that we are developing to enable the same level of performance, we are helping to reduce this environmental impact.
