Der Defense FR500 ist eigentlich ein super Tourenrucksack zu einem mehr als fairen Preis! Für Skitouren sehr zu empfehlen, für Boarder gibt es allerdings einen schwerwiegenden Fehler: Der untere Gurt der Boardbefestigung wird über eine Schnalle aus Aluminium seitlich eingehängt. Diese sitzt dann genau an der Kante des Boards und reibt mit jedem Schritt an Kante oder Boardoberfläche. Das hinterlässt natürlich sofort hässliche Kratzer oder beschädigt die Kante. Schade, denn ansonsten ist der Rucksack wirklich sehr durchdacht aufgebaut. Mein absoluter Favorit ist die Rückseite, die sich mit einem Reißverschluss über die komplette Länge öffnen und aufklappen lässt! Somit kommt man problemlos auch an all die Gegenstände, die man gerade benötigt, die aber aus unerfindlichen Gründen immer ganz unten sind. Die Tasche am Hüftgurt ist bei den meisten Rucksäcken so flach, dass nichts hineinpasst. Beim Defense FR500 dagegen ist sie wirklich großzügig dimensioniert, ohne dass sie dabei störend wirkt. Auch das Fach für das Lawinenset lässt sich schön weit öffnen. Leider fehlt hier das Fach für das LVS Gerät, aber das lässt sich verschmerzen. Noch positiv zu erwähnen ist, dass die gesamte Außenhaut gummiert und somit wasserfest ist. Und nicht zu vergessen, der Rückenprotektor ist im Preis inklusive. Bei den meinsten Herstellern muss dieser extra dazugekauft werden. Abgesehen von der kratzenden Snowboardhalterung ist mein einziger Kritikpunkt noch der Klettverschluss am Hüftgurt. Er bringt keinen Vorteil und klettet aber ganz wunderbar an Funktionsshirts, Pullovern und Allem was man so unter der Jacke trägt. Also liebe Produktdesigner, ersetzt die seitliche Alu-Schnalle durch einen mittigen Kunststoffclip, lasst den Klettverschluss weg und ihr habt den perfekten Tourenrucksack!

Sac utilisé cette hiver 2022, lègé et adapté ! Le sac est grand et pratique pour les rangements, ski sur les côtés et le casque dans le sac. La poche avant au dessus est parfaite pour les lunettes de ski. Et la taille permet de mettre de l'eau et de quoi manger en montagne. Parfait pour les débutants pour faire du ski hors piste avec moniteur et avoir les ski sur les côtés.
Super sac vendu pour le ski,je m'en sert pour le VTT à cause de la protection dorsale et le volume de rengement
Très bon sac. Les poches compartimentées sont bien pensées, ceinture scratch pratique. Poche avant pour le matériel de secours bien pensé mais un peu juste lorsque l'on y met les peaux, manque juste une attache à l'intérieur du sac permettant l'accrochage d'un sac à eau, perso j'en ai bidouillé une maison avec le système d'accroche casque déjà présent.

Très bon sac à dos pour le ski et/ou snowboard. L’espace intérieur permet de loger facilement une pelle, une sonde (emplacement spécifique pour celle-ci), kamelback et les affaires de rechange. Le rabat orange est important en cas de recherche de blessé. Les sangles de portage pour snowboard sont très efficaces.
Super pratique
Sac très bien conçu est très agréable. Cependant dommage que la safety pocket ne soit pas pas étanche vers l'intérieur du sac : cela permettrait de ne pas mouillé les affaires en rangeant une pelle encore mouillé et permettrai d'avoir une poche où ranger les peux mouillées
Pas suffisamment de poches, le porte ou l'attache filet pour le casque s'est déchiré légèrement à la 1ere utilisation, très fragile du coup. Pratique, mais il serait bien d'avoir un emplacement spécial pour les couteaux de ski de rando, car fragilise camelbag une fois placé à l'intérieur.
Superbe découverte
J ai testé le sac avant son achat le week-end dernier en ski de randonnée. Le plus: les compartiments, la protection dorsale,la ceinture ventrale large agréable Les moins:Il manque un crochet pour la poche à eau,et si Décathlon pouvait commercialiser un sac airbag cela serait bien.

Ceinture très pratique. Beaucoup de compartiment .un peu lourd .
bonne dorsale intégrées les systèmes pour ouvrir les zip sont appréciables. la petite poche pour les lunettes super. le filet pour le casque impeccable. mais où sont passés les crochets pour le camel bag ? le passage pour le tuyau et present même sur les bretelles mais pas de crochet. j'ai glissé mon réservoir d'eau dans le filet contre la dorsale,mais quand il se vide un peu il se ratatine et ça devient compliqué d'aspirer l'eau. c'est la seule ombre au tableau d'un sac a dos très polyvalent.

Shovel and probe pocket
1 special pocket to keep your shovel and probe. Pocket with quick opening system to access your equipment in an emergency. Along with the avalanche transceiver, the probe and shovel are essential tools that you must be familiar with when out on the slopes/freeriding/back-country skiing.
Carry skis / snowboard / ice axe
You can carry a snowboard on the front of the bag or adult skis, one on either side, or 2 pairs of junior skis on either side. Carrying them this way keeps your hands free so that you can walk comfortably to the ski lifts or get to the Freeride slopes. An ice axe can also be carried.
Instructions for carrying skis
To carry skis on the side, place the tail of the skis in the lower strap, that adjusts automatically to the width of the skis. Attach your skis using the adjustable side strap. If you want you can attach your skis together using a ski strap, to better stabilize your pack.
Instructions for carrying a snowboard
Place the tip of the snowboard on the lower strap at the bottom of your rucksack, undo both side straps and attach them together to finish fixing your snowboard.
Helmet holder
A net is designed to carry your helmet on the top of your bag.
Removable back protection
The back protector can be removed if you want to lighten your bag. Warning, if you do this you will no longer have back protection.
Straps
Adjustable straps, comfortable, preformed, and padded to provide maximum comfort and stability on the shoulders. A height-adjustable chest strap, with rescue whistle, to hold your bag firmly in place on your back. A wide neoprene waist strap to provide the comfort and support required to prevent movement of the bag when skiing. Lined with a wide strap to tighten more precisely.
Pockets
A large volume main pocket, access from the top of the bag or quick and wide access through a zipped opening on the back of the bag, ideal to pack your bag. A secured pocket for the shovel and probe with quick ZIP opening. A felt lined goggle pocket. A mesh pocket on the goggle compartment. An accessible inside and outside side pocket (flask). A small pocket on the neoprene waist strap.
Carry handle
Handle for ergonomic grip, easy transport and storage.
Goggle pocket
1 thermoformed goggle pocket on the front to carry spare goggles, glasses, a mobile phone. Soft fabric inside to protect screens and lenses (goggles, telephone, glasses).
Recco system
This bag has a RECCO® reflector With RECCO® technology, you can be located in the event of an avalanche. Someone who is equipped with RECCO® reflectors and is buried in the snow can be quickly and accurately located by the emergency services using the RECCO® tracker. RECCO® reflectors are not a substitute for an AVD. The RECCO® technology works as a complementary measure, increasing the chances of being found in time.
