Lighter than a brand name protector for racing (I use a POV VPD 2.0), but thats to its benefit for rec skiing. Adds safety and warmth for a spectacular price. I think every kid and sensible adults should wear this as ubiquitous as a helmet. This price point makes that reachable. Well done Decathlon! I don't believe this would qualify for a FIS or organized racing, but fine for beer league and fun skiing. Way safer than no spine protector!!!!

The size guide shown online (height) is not the one shown in the product information booklet which is a waist and torso measurement. I am a Large by online sizing but between Small and Medium according to the booklet. Worth bearing in mind as sizing is safety critical on this product. Otherwise good quality.
Hello Richard thank you for your feedback. You are right, online I decided to help the customer making a choice based on a measurement that she/he knows (the height). We have strong correlations between body height and back length therefore choosing the protection based on your body height will make sure that the foam length matches your back length. I know that body type can influence the size you will choose. I will double check with my development team to make sure all info are matching.

Really great product at a proper price. Comfortable and easy to use.
I have been skiing for a few years but I have a bad back so am always worried about making it worse with a fall - which makes me less confident. This year having the protector gave me more confidence because falling wouldn't be the end of the world. I'd definitely recommend.

syn byl spokojený, díky přizpůsobivému provedení je v páteřáků dobrá pohyblivost......snad když by bylo třeba, zajistí i očekávanou ochranu.....
Vesta je lehká, dobře drží na těle díky pružné látce. Pružný bederní pás pevně přichytí vestu k tělu a složí zároveň jako pás zahřívací... Naprostá spokojenost..!!
Tento chránič jsem si zakouila na doporučení a musím říct, že je naprosto skvělý. Velmi dobře se přizpůsobí tělu a na svahu ho vůbec na sobě necítím.
Zakoupil jsem pateřák na lyže a musím pochválit že takovou cenu jako kvalita úplně bohatě to stačí používam to zde v ČR i v Zahraniční a člověk si na to zvykne
Cítím se jistěji a to i vzhledem k ostatním lyžařům. Chránič nezabere moc místa navíc. Ještě jsem neměl možnost ho otestovat nárazem, ale věřím mu.

Používán týden na horách, je pohodlný, není pod bundou vidět, je v něm hodně teplo na záda.

Finde den Rückenprotektor perfekt für Anfänger und gute Snowboarder! Bin mir nicht sicher ob er im Park genug Schutz bietet, aber für die Piste und Abseits reicht er völlig aus! Er passt wie erwartet und bleibt an Ort und Stelle dank des "Nierengurts", welcher auch zusätzliche Wärme spendet.
