Nic rod .lite weight and easily using
Rod is Average, fishing line would slam into the rod at the time which affects the casting even while using other branded reels. The reel needa lot of improvement, hard to fine tunr drag adjustment either goes too hard or smooth. Line tangles on the first guide while casting. Dont ever directly lift the fish using this rod.

Yes, the reel which comes along with this rod is basic and you can upgrade to Axion 4000 to have a better experience.
And yes, you can't lift the fish immediately because it is composed of graphite for lightweight and there is a chance for the tips to get broken.

9 feet long, light weight & fast action rod, helps U get a light weight lure far & accurate… Good drag on reel too…

Bought this rod for ultra light action, Very fragile rod.. Broke after few fishing trip.. Reel was useless..

GOOD ACTION
I am using this rod for last 2 years and I am loving it. I have two of them in my collection. I also use the rod for Carp fishing in river and lake both and the service is great.
This fishing combo is absolute joy to have , specially where you need utmost sensitive for a cunning catch and works perfectly for me in medium to small streams where fishes are quite difficult and that's where light weight and sensitivity comes in handy. I think given the price of the combo ,people should get this as there first combo and I use it for trouts and it's cousins alike and it's awesome. I believe people will enjoy it.
I reached to the support team with no response yet since about a week. I used a 30mm line with a weight of 20gms and a 0-5gm hook, with the total weight being within the prescribed guidelines and followed all the necessary instructions . Unfortunately the line stayed intact but the upper part of the rod broke down . I am utterly disappointed with the response from Decathlon support team , as I believe the product being faulty can be one of a case .

I was using a 20gm weight, and a 5 gm hook, with a 30mm line having strength of upto 6kgs, and followed the necessary guidelines. Unfortunately the rod with the strength upto (20lbs ~9kgs) broke instead of the line. I raised a ticket but didn't get any response since last 6 days.
