Great backpack with plenty of storage space
I haven't used it on an outing yet, but my rating is based on appreciation. It can improve by experiencing it in the field.
Hands down the best backpack for its value. This backpack can hold an incredible amount and the bottom compartment is extremely spacious. The Easyfit technology is a game changer and should be incorporated in all hiking/camping backpacks. There’s also a bonus rain cover as well which is awesome! Overall, I am very pleased with this product and highly recommend it to those looking for a budget friendly backpack with all these amazing features.

Excellent item perfectly suited for hiking
Loved the quality, capacity and overall build.
This is a very good backpack. It is very comfortable and you will never suffer from too much pressure on your shoulders thanks to the easily adjustable carrying straps. Not too small, not too big, everything easily accessible. It's basically a tote bag on its side. There is a spacious separate side pocket where you can store items that you need more often. The zipper is the only thing that worried me but so far it's holding up fine. I like the backpack so much that I am considering purchasing a second one.

MINIMUM ESSENTIAL, BUT CAPACITY INSIDE.
Very large bag but it is not practical to attach something under the bag. The straps I usually use do not pass through the "grommets". And I don't know what the strap loops near the metal bars at the top of the shoulder straps are for.

Easyfit system
Our patented Easyfit system allows you to adjust the back height and strap tension simultaneously by pulling on one single strap (on each side). 1. Put on your bag2. Buckle and tighten the belt3. Pull the handles (from bottom to top) It’s adjusted!
Capacity
70 L volume. The volume of each backpack is measured using a standardised method. we use small balls to fill the main compartment as well as each pocket. The balls are then emptied into a graduated container in order to determine the equivalent volume in litres, with a margin of error of just a few %.
Dying process
Textile dyeing requires a lot of water but also produces waste water from the dye baths. To reduce this environmental impact, we have opted for mass pigmentation called Inchdope dye Inch integrating the colour pigments from the initial thread manufacture. This process reduces this backpack’s CO2 emissions by 35% compared to the previous model.
How to pack a backpack?
Put your bedding at the bottom. Put heavy gear (tent, camp stove, food) near your back. Store your clothing around it. A groundsheet or tent can be placed under the flap or under the bag if there isn't room inside. Keep your waterproof jacket and fleece to hand. Place small items for daily use (sun cream, map, glasses etc.) in the pockets. The water bladder can be placed in the compartment provided down the back.
Why are our rain covers grey when some trekkers want them to be brightly coloured?
The grey colour is neutral so uses less dye. We also use a “bi-ton” dyeing process where only one thread in every two is dyed. This dyed yarn is also made from a bulk dyeing process which incorporates the colour pigments from the yarn manufacturing phase onwards. Forclaz is committed to improving the environmental impact of its products through these actions.

To test, assess and validate products, our mission test connects the product manager responsible for the product design with individuals independent to DECATHLON. This backpack was tested by trekkers for 5 weeks in the Canary Islands, the Pyrenees and the Mont Blanc mountain range.
