As expected good quality
We've had this wheel for well over a year (maybe even two??) and it still works a treat. We haven't switched it to the hard setting yet, as the 'normal' one is hard enough. When you first start out, definitely don't do more than 5, as you won't be able to walk up straight the next couple of days if you go all out! Build up slowly. I am still getting the hang of it, but am getting better at it, my other half is using it every day and it really improves your abdominal strength. Well worth the money.

It both works out the surface muscles (the famous ”washboard”) as well as the deep muscles (thanks to the core workout it delivers). The secrets of this ab wheel
The product development team that developed this wheel is made up of weight training enthusiasts. They had the (somewhat diabolical) idea of creating one wheel with two options: stable or unstable. Instability gives your deep muscles a harder workout with the Ab Wheel.The wheels won't mark your floors.The black plastic pieces on the blue wheel are made from recycled plastic (47% of the product). It's a clever little product.
Using the ab wheel
To avoid risk of injury, take care to contract your abs and not arch your back during the entire exercise.If you're just getting started with the Ab Wheel, don't try to extend too far forward. To restrict your range of motion, you can use it in front of a wall or door. The Ab Wheel is not recommended for those with back problems or who are not used to working out their abs.
Ab wheel accessories
If you've never used an Ab Wheel, start the stable mode with a resistance band. Place one end of the band between the wheels and the other end behind one of your legs. The exercise will be easier but still very effective.If you're new to strength training, choose the Evolving Ab Wheel with Elastic Band Support (ref: 8556755).If you're worried about leaving marks on your floors, you can use it over a towel, but rest assured that the wheel was designed to not mark floors.

The Ab Wheel is a very challenging piece of equipment. It is important to engage your abs when using it to protect your back. Never arch your back and start with short sets until your abs get stronger.You should be very comfortable with the stable option before trying the unstable option, which is much more difficult!
