It’s a good helmet for surfing but the forehead get a bit irritated from the line of the helmets design in that area. Also the chin strap needs a bit more protection for your chin. It’s a good medium protective helmet.

For anyone looking for possibly the best solution for a soft helmet for surfing, this is it. Unbelievably comfortable, fits like a glove and does not inhibit your vision. Duck diving is not an issue with the water flowing away nicely. It’s so comfortable it’s like it’s not there. I’m probably going to buy another one in case I ever miss placed this one, it’s that good. Super light and incredibly well made. There isn’t really anything else in the market that I have tried or seen that even compares.
I had a bilateral fracture at C6 when I was dumped some months back so I was looking for some protection when I resumed surfing. This looked to offer what I was looking for at a reasonable price. From cycling, I know how these should fit to be effective. Based on my measurements a medium should suit and it did. But a large be more comfortable for prolonged sessions in the water and still work well. I have not been able to wet test it yet because the wind and waves have not been cooperating here in Perth. I will add to this review if I can when I do. I am part of a large group of older surfers and we bought these in a batch of four to defray the shipping costs. It is possible that more people in the group may opt to use helmets come the summer.
Saves getting bumped on the head by your own or other peoples surf board
Not used yet but appears good protection over much of the head. Sizes seem small so it’s worth checking before buying if possible.
The helmet is OK regards fit etc. However, the chin strap really makes my neck sore, to the point it's unwearable. Strap needs to be made of a smoother material or have a glide skin cover over the strap, like you get on the collars of higher end wetsuits. Also, I bought this helmet for the peak to keep the sun out of my eyes, it's really too small to do this. Furthermore, the ear covers aren't really effective and allows wind water to enter too easily. Would be better to have a layer of lycra, a diaphragm, over the holes to protect the ear canal better. IMO you're better off paying more for one of the established brands.
I ordered one of these as the website said that the XL would fit heads up to 64cm. When it arrived, the product label said that XL was only from 60-61cm . It might be a nice helmet, but it doesn't appear to be the size they say it is, and having tried it on, I strongly suspect the size on the product label is correct

Der Helm ist leicht, ist wesentlich angenehmer zu tragen als die üblichen Kitehelme. Die Größenangaben in der Beschreibung stimmen allerdinsg nicht. Ich habe Kopfumfang 56cm und nach diesen Angaben bräuchte ich Größe L. Die diese Größe ausverkauft war, habe ich kurzerhand Größe M bestellt. Am Etikett steht allerdings dass Größe M für Kopfumfang 56-57cm ist und der Helm passt mir wie angegossen.
Der Helm hat eine angenehme Passform. Schutzwirkung ist geringen als bei bei Hardshell Helmen. Trotzdem ausreichend zum Kiten. Kontakt mit dem Kiteboard fängt der Helm gut ab. Negativ aufgefallen ist mir, daß der Helm durch Sonneneinstrahlung schnell verblasst. Mein Helm hat jetzt einen blassen leicht bräunlich Farbton.

El casco es ligeramente elástico, por lo que en mi caso cogĂ una talla inmediatamente inferior a la que me correspondĂa segĂşn mi perĂmetro cefálico e indicaciĂłn de la medida del casco. En el agua no se me mueve, no me agobia y estoy cĂłmodo y protegido. Recomiendo probar las diferentes tallas antes de comprar.
Buen producto a buen precio
Es muy cómodo, pero tiene un pero, en olas medianas o grandes, la visera, coge agua en los revolcones y te mueve la cabeza , pienso que pudiendo hacer daño inclusive en el cuello. Pero por lo demás es excelente.

Recommendations for use
Wearing this protection should not stop you from respecting the safety guidelines and priority rules associated with surfing.For maximum protection, the helmet should be adjusted to the user’s head with the help of the support system in the chin and neck area.Try different sizes in order to select one that best matches the size of your head.
Restrictions
This helmet can be used during recreational surf sessions in normal conditions, but not for motorised sports or surfing in very large waves.The test protocol is valid for recreational surfing only. As such, its use in any other water sport ( foil, wake, kite, etc.) is at the user's own risk.
