Protects you from impacts. It is not a total protector but it lessens the blow and at least those classic blows protect you
looking for a flexible helmet for surfing I thought I had found my happiness only from the first session, the rear part of the helmet irritated me at the level of the adjustable part... Same for the attachment part under the chin, the fabric part supposed to protect the blow of the plastic strap does not stay in place. results: I had to get out of the water to take off the helmet because it was so uncomfortable.

Price Quality is adequate
Excellent price / quality ratio. On the other hand, do not trust what the site announces in terms of size. I took M because announced a head circumference between 56 and 59 (I am 58) and the helmet is too small, mark and pain on the forehead. I will give it back and take L. The yellow color is really nice and can be seen from afar. Info: I use it for wake boarding.
Unfortunately, the protection against board contact (fast foil board) is not sufficient. The following foilboard left a big dent a few cm above the ear.

Recommendations for use
Wearing this protection should not stop you from respecting the safety guidelines and priority rules associated with surfing.For maximum protection, the helmet should be adjusted to the user’s head with the help of the support system in the chin and neck area.Try different sizes in order to select one that best matches the size of your head.
Restrictions
This helmet can be used during recreational surf sessions in normal conditions, but not for motorised sports or surfing in very large waves.The test protocol is valid for recreational surfing only. As such, its use in any other water sport ( foil, wake, kite, etc.) is at the user's own risk.
