The vest is perfect for hiking and for carrying folded in a backpack in case you need to use it later, etc. Very light and comfortable.
I recommend it
Suitable for a mid-season base layer or jacket. Perfect size for a young girl.
I use it for Nordic walking, it's perfect for freedom of movement, it's light and warm. Not used in the rain yet.

Functions
- Inside flap under the zip that protects from the wind. - Flap at the top of the collar to protect the chin. - Tightening with an elastic cord and toggle at the hem.
Water repellent property of component (not to be confused with waterproofing)
A fabric is water repellent when it allows water slide over its surface without seeping in. This prevents the fabric from swelling, and keeps it lightweight and warm. The water repellent property is achieved by treating the fabric's exterior. This treatment must be renewed throughout the garment's lifespan (recommended after each wash). Products are available for this purpose in our stores.
How to repair your padded jacket if it has a tear?
While you’re trekking, your padded jacket could get a tear in it, but the good news is that it can be repaired! You can either mend it or apply a heat-bonded patch so that the tear doesn't get any bigger and the synthetic fibres escape. Don't you feel at ease carrying out this repair yourself? Don't worry! Some of our in-store Decathlon workshops offer a repair service for your padded jackets.
