We use 100% polyester insulation (70% recycled) at 3.5 oz/sqm. The fill is made from silicon-coated spiral fibers that make it highly compressible and highly durable. Despite its slim design, it is highly insulating thanks to the air imprisoned inside and it remains low weight. It remains warm even when wet.
100% polyamide fabric 1.4 oz/sqm, 20 deniers
100% polyamide fabric 1.2 oz/sqm, mix of 15 and 20 denier thread. deniers This fabric mixes dyed black thread and a non-dyed thread. This solution enabled us to lower CO2 emissions by 40%.

In November 2007, 6 backpackers (4 men and 2 women) with part of the Forclaz design team tested this down jacket for 4 days in the Southern French Alps. We were able to make the final modifications and validate is for use in mountain backpacking.
