triathlon shoes

Very good shoes. I had a little problem with the closure on the side, but it was quickly resolved by Decathlon. They are comfortable. Easy to put on. Slippers. I highly recommend

After 1 year and 2 triathlons

A little disappointed after a year of use (only around 1000-1500km, so a big part on Home Trainer) and 2 triathlons, the zipper pull broke during the cycling event. not great for reassembling the latter. the zippers are now seized and handling them becomes difficult. In short, the durability is very limited. Perhaps the HT and associated perspiration is the cause and has weakened the shoe.

I have been using his shoes for 2 years. Overall, these are good shoes, they dry quickly, you can put them on easily. Comfort is good. the quality/ratio is there. the only problem I have is the zipper seizes, even after several rinses when you do triathlons with sea swimming. I saved them once, but it's stuck again. .too bad the shoe was capable of going even further.

Comfortable, simple and quick

Very good shoes for my practice. They are very comfortable, the tightening is simple and precise. Still very good value for money.

Excellent product, but broken after 2.5 years

Used in triathlon (M & L) and training, they are quite light and above all extremely comfortable. They are very easy to put on while riding. This function has been very well studied and implemented. They have a very successful design and the materials are of very good quality... except the zipper, which broke after 2.5 years of use. I am really very disappointed. What a pity. Such a waste. In comparison, my BTWIN MTB (& gravel) shoes are over 15 years old and are still perfectly functional despite much more intensive use.

Very bad quality

Shortly after purchasing them they did not close properly

Poor quality, clasp damaged in less than 1 year

After 10 months of use, the zipper stopped working, I went to the store to ask for warranty repair and they said there was no repair and they wouldn't replace it because they didn't guarantee the zipper.

Excellent product

I was mixed after reading the previous reviews, but the product is excellent. Used on several triathlons (from XS to L), I see no fault: comfort (even without socks), drying/ventilation, ease of putting on/taking off Take a size larger.

Not for the sea, not for the sand

Shoes used for the XS and S triathlon. Unfortunately, the zipper which is very practical at first glance does not support sand gains or drying salt. A grain of sand broke the zipper and the store clerk told us that we just hadn't rinsed them well. Avoid as long as the zippers are metal.

Very satisfactory product, but out of stock

Hello, These shoes are perfect for quick Triathlon transitions, why are there no longer any available online or in my store?

Very satisfactory product. There…

Very satisfactory product. The strip of fabric which keeps the shoe open could be improved however, it is not so easy to get the tongue stuck in it. A carbon sole would provide even better performance. Excellent value for money. I recommend!

Size very very small

The size advice tells me to take 43 depending on my foot size, I take 44 to be comfortable but despite that it's too small.

Excellent shoes for 8 months...

The shoes are excellent, but they have a problem that I also found in another bike shoe purchased from Decathlon. After a few months (8 months in my case) the front part starts to harden and it becomes painful to use them for more than hours. Now I have to buy another pair of shoes

Biggest size 11?

These shoes should go up in sizes… 12,13,14 as there is a market for it and people who would like to buy these very shoes for personal use.

Why use a triathlon-specific shoe for the cycling leg?

As you know, triathlons consist of 3 disciplines and 2 triathlons. Whatever your race objective, transitions are always stressful. That's why we're offering a triathlon-specific cycling shoe that's easy to pull on and off, while ensuring excellent barefoot comfort, sparing you the effort of putting wet socks on when you come out of the water.

How to choose the right size

Choosing a cycling shoe is similar to choosing a running shoe; we recommend selecting 1 size above your everyday footwear so that your foot is not compressed on use, particularly at the toes. Make sure they're not too big either so that your foot doesn't move around in the shoe. Check that your heel doesn't lift off the shoe once tightened to confirm your choice.

Triathlon cycling leg with or without socks?

That is the question! Putting socks on wet feet during the 1st transition can be difficult, scary as it may be, depending on the distance, to try the cycling leg without socks for fear of discomfort and overheating. The Triathlon Aptonia shoes have a seamless, extra soft inner layer so that you can cycle without socks. This enables a smoother first transition and comfortable cycling.

Are triathlon shoes as effective as road bike shoes?

These triathlon shoes will allow you to manage the 2 transitions effectively and, more importantly, help you to perform the cycling leg as well as possible. In terms of shoe construction, we offer an adjustable instep support system with the ATOP buckle. The nylon sole offers an excellent compromise between comfort and rigidity, while the slipper, made entirely of mesh, is perfectly shaped to your foot and ensures great ventilation.
