I would look to return and buy a longer lock .this is too small to lock it anywhere
Got my ELOPS 520 stolen while using this lock .. I always secure my bike by its frame I was baffled when my bike was gone and the lock was completely intact with absolutely no use of force. Don't buy this piece of junk. I just found this out the hard way. Saw other reviews for a very similar BTWin Lock which also mention it can be opened with other keys.
Only using for short stops and feels good quality so far. However, advertising on the lock in irremovable printing that the lock is security 'silver rated' and '2 star' may be one of the worst design decisions I have seen.
Haven’t used it as yet so can’t comment on security, but it seems really robust. Haven’t used as yet because I want a mount for it as it’s pretty hefty to carry round otherwise, and I need to travel light. Website states mount is sold separately but can’t find it on the site anywhere?
A little bit to small however it will deter thieves from attempting to steal. Its pretty solid and well built
On the heavy side but kept my bike safe for a couple of years
I’ve had two of these and I’ve come back for a third. First one someone tried to saw through and from the cut left behind I’d say it was definitely a powered saw managed to get a dent into the mental but didn’t get through.Second one they managed to claw a good amount of the plastic casing but didn’t get anywhere with the metal.
Great quality bike lock, you need to be a bit creative at times to fasten your bike to something immoveable but for my fixie commuter it's perfect.

It's small and so the bike has to be close to whatever it is that you're attaching it to. It was never going to be light. But it's terrific. And the price is what makes this so attractive. The security rating of 8 meant that I thought it'd be fine for my £600 road bike to leave around the city of London. I've used it in conjunction with a cable to secure the front wheel. So far, it's been kept safe. It comes with three keys which have been placed on separate keyfobs! It's the business. I've bought three so far for my kids' bikes as well.

I am extremely disappointed I brought this lock for my son aged 14 he cannot use lock very difficult to undo I tried and I found the same problem it also does not fit well . The fact you cannot undo easily It is a waste of money as I am going to have to purchase another one
