Design change suggestion

The adjustable band that allows for tightening around the wrist is currently designed to lie on the inside of the wrists. Unfortunately, for runners, this position risks snagging on clothes when the arms are moving vigorously. Consider changing the positioning the adjustable band to lay on the outside of the wrists, or better yet, redesign the clasp to function either way the user decides.

Waterproof and easy to use

Super simple and easy to use. Great protection from wind and water. Only wish they were a little more insulative as they don't provide much cold protection on their own. They are however lightweight and easy to carry around and will protect your hands from wind and rain and can be used standalone for running. For cold conditions or handling snow a suitably warm underglove/liner is required.

Great Product

Looks like a well made product for a very reasonable price! :) :)

Awesome Over-Gloves

Since they are waterproof, I used them to scoop water out of the frozen lake for filtering drinking water. Pairs great with the Trek 500 Gloves.

Great budget friendly over-gloves!

I bought these gloves to supplement my favourite fleece gloves in case the wind picked up or they got a bit wet. I have had them in my pack every time I have gone out this winter, and have used them mainly cross country skiing (they are great during or after a break when you have gotten a little bit cold). I plan to carry them in all seasons, and am very happy with them so far.

Fantastic over-mitts: light, waterproof, windproof. I use them over a thin pair of mitts/gloves when running.

Top Quality

My favourite running gloves are the forclaz fingerless gloves with the mitt attached to fold over your fingers when it’s cold. They’re great because you don’t need to struggle to get wet or sweaty gloves off to get into pockets or use your phone. They’re not waterproof and so bought these to put over the top in the rain. They’re good to use on their own too in warmer conditions or over a thin glove. Well made and keep the water out. Breathable too so you don’t get sweat puddles inside them. Well worth investing in.

Thumb too small!

Brilliant mitts except there’s little room for thumb when wearing thick winter gloves. Plenty of space for fingers in the mitt so it’s not about going up a size.

Keep the wind and rain out!

Bought these in winter to keep my hands dry as my gloves and mittens aren’t waterproof, used for all wet lockdown adventures! No problems, light enough to always have to hand!

Just right

Very few overgloves on the market. These would be better a little larger To pull them on an off more easily. Perhaps I should go up a size. They stuff easily in a pocket and are at hand if my hands get cold from wind or rain. When I get home I pull them off and my inner gloves and overs, soon dry ready for the next trip out. Great product and they are waterproof!!

How to keep your hands warm with the right clothing

When active, the body generates heat, which the thermal insulation of your clothing helps to preserve. If the clothing is inadequate, your body cools and the blood flow to the hands and feet drops in order to keep your upper body warm. Your clothing can therefore play a role in keeping your hands warm.

What does a windproof glove provide?

Did you know that the wind makes you feel colder? With an outdoor temperature of 32°F and a 12 mph wind, the perceived temperature will be 14°F. The windproof components reduce the wind-chill resulting from the cooling effect of the wind or apparent wind generated by the sporting activity.

Dexterity of the overglove

The dexterity of a glove is its ability to manipulate objects. Our gloves have been scored in the laboratory on a scale of 1 to 5. The nearer the glove's dexterity rating gets to 5, the closer the manipulation when wearing the glove gets to that of a bare hand. In particular, we tested the ability to easily put on and open your jacket with this glove. The palm has been specially designed and reinforced with silicon coated areas to increase strength and grip.

Product testing

Our team of designers is based at the foot of Mont Blanc, in the Haute-Savoie region (France). All year round, our designers create and develop products that are appealing, simple, and technologically advanced. These are then ruthlessly tested in the field because we believe that the only way to continually improve is to test the products under the real-life conditions that you will experience.
