Product Customer Reviews

This was my best one
This is one of the most versatile backpacks I have. I love the idea of taking off the top bag while I am not traveling and using it as a day bag. The price is reasonable.
Love the ability to open wide the bag. Flexible 10 litres bag. Light weight frame provide adequate support n shape.
Great bag and can’t wait to go on multi-day backpacking trips with it. Should be good for travel as well as outdoor pursuits.
My husband and I bought one each and I have to say I was impressed- we used compression bags inside and we got so much in them- loads of pockets and the top knot was great for chucking those last minute bits lying around you forget. Unfortunately there is plastic reinforcement in the padded back panel which split in my one and led to the sharp edge causing the fabric to split and the plastic sticking in my back. This was after 8 months into our year away. We ended up eventually trading it for a different one but the other one made it home and is in tip top condition - I think we were unlucky tbh but just to warn fully laiden these are very heavy to carry - because of the size it is easy to fit lots in and struggle to lift it! It was definitely durable and survived 21 flights, countless busses, trains, boats and coaches.
I've owned this rucksack for about 5 years now (mine is branded Quechua Escape 70 but it's the exact same bag) and feel compelled to write a review. I have used and abused this - I have walked around 1,500 miles with this on my back with it absolutely BURSTING AT THE SEAMS, it's handled everything I've thrown at it and then some. Long distance hiking, festivals, big shops.... don't mess about, this is the one you want. There are a ridiculous number of pockets/compartments on this (I think I counted 13) which at first seems a bit comical but is really useful when you are living out of a rucksack, it makes it quicker to find what you're after without having to excavate the whole thing. The ONLY damage it has sustained in 5 years of abuse is a small tear in the webbing of one the side pockets, one or two minor tears on the back where it was LITERALLY RUN OVER BY A CAR and one of the zip pull cords came untied. That's the sum total of the damage. Bearing in mind that I have walked THE ENTIRE LENGTH OF GREAT BRITAIN and more with this thing full - abusing it at every opportunity - that's pretty incredible. Being able to have confidence in your equipment is invaluable when you are in the middle of nowhere with your life strapped to your back. Even if it broke tomorrow (it won't, the build quality is INSANE even though it looks very ordinary) I would buy another one in a heartbeat. About the only thing I can fault about is is that the tension straps on the breast, arms and shoulder come undone pretty quickly when the pack is heavy, you need to pull them tight every half a mile or so as you walk along but it's not that big a deal. Even after walking 900 miles doing 20 miles a day with it full (weighing 15kg+ at a guess) my back was fine, I thought I might be doing my back irreversible damage, my legs hurt like hell but my back was fine! Tip: Buy the add-on straps for the bottom that Decathlon sell and you can strap your roll-mat to the bottom. Decathlon: PLEASE never stop making this rucksack!
This is a luggage for travel (hotels/flights) but definitely not a trekking rucksack mostly because a lack of waterproofing and materials durability (which is not even specified but I assume maximum 400D) look at Klattermusen backpacks/rucksacks those are 13% KEVLAR!
This is a fantastic bit of kit! Looks and carries like a Backpack, but loads like a suitcase. The back system is really good and the perfect fit is easily achieved. Also unlike any other backpack I've known, there are zip mesh pockets on either side for those small items that get easily lost amongst what's been packed and shifted, after rummaging for something at the bottom of the bag. Although that isn't an issue either, because the whole back of the bag has a zip surround, meaning everything is easily accessible whether at the top, middle or bottom of the bag. The top of the bag is a bag in itself and separates easily from the main bag. This makes it ideal for trips to the shower block when staying on site. The outer pockets are of a generous size, and ideal for carrying 1l sports bottles. The belt pocket is a good size too with a decent zip allowing it to open fully. This comfortably houses a mobile power pack, and allows a charge lead to be connected to a mobile device whilst on the move. The lower compartment is accessible from both inside and outside of the bag, and at the bottom of the bag there's a pocket for the included cover. This though is no ordinary cover. It also can be used as a separate bag. Again, ideal when on site, and needing to maybe do a bit of laundry. It can also be used to carry the backpack itself over short distances, or when on public transport, so as to avoid the need to carry it awkwardly or struggle in a confined space to put it on. All in all this ticks all the boxes, and I highly recommend it.
Great design and quality of fabrics. A lot easier to access things with the ability to open like a suitcase. Comfortable to wear when full (of clothing). Included raincover is handy for keeping it all together when flying.
after using it a few times, i think it's not very comfortable, the front straps are a bit short and also hurt my shoulders a bit. i also found the top compartment not well designed, as you need to unlock it to open the bag and it always falls down. The hiid part is that it has plenty of space and a lot of internal pockets.
Best ever backpack I have had. Very strong, comfortable. and stylish. Incredible. Fallen in love.
Next level quality
No doubt the quality of Bag is good but the total weight of empty bag is 2.5 Kg. If we carry only our regular stuff then only the weight reaches to 13 to 15 kg. Its not possible to carry 15 kg weight and go for tracking. The detachable part which is above the bag and raincover itself have weight of 500g. There is metal rod frame in the bag due to which the hight is adjusting autometically when anyone hangs the bag. But the metal rod is very heavy and it cauae pain in back side.

Composition
Main fabric: 100.0% Polyethylene Terephtalate ; Lining: 100.0% Polyethylene Terephtalate ; Yoke: 100.0% Polyamide ; Webbing: 100.0% Polypropylene ; Coating: 100.0% Polyurethane
How to fill my bag for optimal comfort?
Put your bedding at the bottom. Place heavy gear near your back (tent, camp stove, food). Pack your clothes around these items. The groundsheet can be placed under the flap; the tent under the bag if there's no room inside. Keep your waterproof jacket and fleece to hand. Place small items for daily use in the pockets (sun cream, map, glasses, etc.). The water bladder can be placed in the compartment generally provided down the back.
The easyfit system
This patented system lets you adjust your backpack in a single intuitive step to fit your body shape while it is on your back: for maximum comfort.
How to adjust your bag?
To begin, LOOSEN all the straps (shoulder straps, belt, load adjuster straps). Then, put the bag on and PLACE THE BELT ON THE HIPS (it must cover the pelvic bones around the hips) to TIGHTEN.Finally, PULL THE Easyfit STRAPS and the strap block will go around your shoulders. Finally, just ADJUST THE LOAD ADJUSTERS to get the perfect fit for your back.
Easyfit effectiveness tests are carried out by our research and development teams
User-friendly design: adjustment time is 2.3 times shorter with EasyFit backpacks; with the EasyFit system, you'll never have to backtrack. Does not affect the quality of adjustment compared to a bag with standard adjustment: EasyFit was rated significantly more comfortable on a 4% Friedmann statistical test; users also noted better adjustments 6 times more often.
How is bag volume measured?
The volume of each backpack is measured using a standardised method: we fill the main compartment as well as each pocket with little balls. We then empty these balls into a graduated container, which gives the equivalent volume in litres, with a tolerance of a few %.The weight indicated is that of our benchmark sample. There may be slight variations.
10-year guarantee
The guarantee covers any backpack faults, except those caused by normal wear and tear and improper use. This special 10-year warranty will only be granted upon presentation of the receipt and the product, if the product is covered by warranty, it will be repaired or exchanged, free of charge. This sales warranty does not affect the statutory rights applicable in your country and/or State.
Weight and dimensions
The bag is 65 cm in height, 40 cm wide and 32 cm deep.It weights approximately 2.5 kg.
Product testing
Using laboratory and field tests, we check the bag's resistance to abrasion and tearing, its colour fastness to UV light and washing, and its waterproofing. Then, the weighted backpack is placed on a dummy that simulates ageing by replicating thousands of fast walking movements, to check the durability of assemblies. The components (fabrics, buckles, straps, foam, zips, etc.) are also tested separately so that we can guarantee these bags for 10 years.
Storage instructions
Store your bag in a dry, ventilated place away from direct light.
