For the low price of this kayak my expectations were exceeded and more. It is incredibly easy to assemble taking less than 5 minutes from getting out of the bag and into the water. The design cannot be flawed as I purposely tried to tip the kayak much to the dismay of my partner and found it exceedingly difficult even when standing up. I cannot recommend this product enough
I've now taken the Itiwit Kayak out on both Sea and river and am extremely pleased with it. The design of the kayak is very well thought out. It is made of a strong outer fabric with the plastic inflatable inside this giving me faith that it will withstand bumps and scrapes on rocks and branches, it comes with 3 skegs on the bottom that really help the tracking which can be a big issue for an inflatable kayak. it is also very well thought out for when it comes to drying out with the bottom panel being removable so it can be taken out which allows it to dry quicker. The valves are great and all attached by string to stop you misplacing them, it inflated quickly but also deflated quickly and once you've got the hang of packing it up this is a surprisingly quick process. The obvious advantage of an inflatable kayak is that it packs ice and easily in the average car boot and is very transportable. The down sides are (and please note this is respect of all inflatables not just this model): the wind pushes this around very easily, it's only really feasible to take this out on a still day. The kayak has a very wide base making it extremely stable but not very fast, you need to paddle quite vigorously to keep up with a solid body kayak. I've also got a Sevylor kayak and I must say this is miles better in both build quality and design, its much more rigid and sits better in the water, it comes with everything you need out of the box but with the Sevylor I had to buy better valves and a skeg as extra's. If you've decided to go down the inflatable kayak route I think this is a great option
Really like the kayak and was great fun on two lakes in Manchester/Cheshire last couple of weeks. 1 problem though is that there is a small tear already on on the underside of the boat, have repaired using the repair pack that comes with it, but disappointed that it has teared on its second use. It was only used in still water lakes and not near any rocks as launched from a jetty. No contact details on the itiwit page for support. Hoping that the patch fixes it otherwise it will be returned.
My husband and I brought one each , the side kept going down , we took it back to store and picked it up again the next day , they said it was fine , it wasn’t, the side was still going down and the middle of the boat popped so it was uneven , we got an exchange , then after the winter months we went to go out on them again pumped mine up to find that the middle part had come apart at the seam so we can’t even try to fix it with a puncher repair kit , it was completely fine the last time I used it , it had been put away dry in its bag , so I don’t know how it split , it said online that we could pick up an replacements centre part up from reading, we went all the way there to find out they don’t have it and we are now going all the way to Guildford . It’s a shame as they are great fun but a lot of hassle , we had these boats for 10 and a half months but didn’t use them at all in winter , so in total I would say they have only been used 5 times
Good value. Well made. Easy to inflate, use, deflate and store for next time. Have used it in harbours, rivers and lochs. So far no issues !
We where give this as a wedding gift, we have used it many times on rivers, lakes and recently the sea, excellent on all. I have purchased a standard electric pump to get most of the air in to it and then use the double pump to get it to the correct pressure, have also inflated with the double pump in less than 10 minutes. excellent purchase i think i need to buy drip rings as an addition and possibly longer paddles but apart from that, its an excellent choice.
I've only used this once so far but so, so impressed. I was looking at it for a while unsure wether to take the plunge. Extremely glad I did. I used it on the river with my 7 year old and found it to be study and responsive. Theres plenty of room to store your bits and pieces in the back. Pumps up in no time. Packs away nice and small. We put 2 of the 4 part oars in the bag and strapped the pump the outside with no problem. You do need to strip it apart to dry it though but I think that won't be a problem once you get used to doing it. All in all seems great. Cant wait to get back out on it.
only used a couple of times-weather changed just after purchase. Inflation and deflation is quick and easy. As a complete novice kayaker, it felt stable and easy to paddle.
I have now used this kayak twice, once on the sea at filey, and once on a lake, it is very sturdy even when we were caught in a swell on the sea, it is easy to paddle and to steer. It comes with it's own back pack, so easy to carry, the only down side is trying to pack it away.
very stable, easy to inflate and deflate. comfy seats.
Very very good easy to inflate
Not used yet but looks great.
Very happy with this purchase it was brought for my boyfriend for his birthday his very satisfied
I own 3 kayaks. One is rigid and 2 inflatables Rigid is too good but this kayak is worthless, changes direction in low wind Gets too much of leakage Dont eDont eever think to go kayaking in a sunny day if you go then yourey going to get too much leakage because of the sun And the worst part is they dont even replace it even after i had complained about the product in the store And I didn't get the bladders for that model online and not even in store
Thank you for sharing your feedback with us.
I sincerely apologise for the difficulties that you have faced with this product.
Since it is a light inflatable kayak, yes it has the tendency to change direction according to the water current and the wind. Please refer to the link below to understand the current and tides while using this kayak, I hope it will help to give you a better kayaking experience.
If the temperature is above 25 degree Celsius it is possible for the bladders to expand due to heat affecting the practice, so we suggest to inflate the kayak at around 1.3 PSI in hot temperature whereas the regular inflation should be at 1.5 PSI. Please let us know if this helps with the issue of over-inflation but the temperature should not result in leakage. leakage will only happen if there is a puncture in the bladder.
We do have all spare parts available for Inflatable kayaks and I am sorry that you were not offered repair services. Please share the details of the damage and I will get it serviced for you and replace the bladders.
I hope this information helps for now and I will be in touch with you for the repair of the kayak.

Good quality product and easy to inflate and deflate .
- 100% Polyester cationic
- 100% Polyvinyl chloride - Phtalate free
Inflate the floor first, then one of the side tubes, and then the second tube to 50%. Check the overall positioning of the chambers. Then, inflate it all to 100% without exceeding 0.1 bar (1.5 PSI). DO NOT OVERINFLATE! Fully close all of the valves. Install the 3 fins, unless using on a river with little water. In the event of EXTREME HEAT, deflate the kayak slightly out of the water to avoid overinflation, which could damage the kayak.
In the event of damage to one of the side chambers, open the side tube lengthwise using the zipper and remove the chamber. The floor can be uncovered by opening the velcro fastenings. Example 1: the hole is in the side tube; you can use the repair kit to stick on a patch. Example 2: the hole is located along a seam; visit the workshop of a DECATHLON store to repair or exchange the bladder.
New carry bag for 2016, backpack style for short distances. New 2016 fins with easy clips. Deflate the kayak by unscrewing the 3 "Boston" valves. Fold the side tubes down onto the floor. Roll, starting from the opposite side to the valves, to squeeze out the air. Place the rolled-up kayak into the main compartment of the bag. Close the zipper and tighten using the compression strap.
The seats are high, providing increased comfort for adults in the paddling position. The seats are to be placed according to the number of persons on board, just behind the markings printed on the floor. On the "2" markings (which therefore remain visible) when there are 2 persons on board. On the "1" marking when there is only 1 person on board. Ensure that you balance your load to optimize kayak performance.
Patented bow shape: the front and back ends provide good glide. The V-shaped front of the kayak enables smooth entry into the water.
