Product Customer Reviews

Just right for early season swims in the bay. Also great for keeping the jelly fish at bay. Easy to get on and off. Very pleased
I’ve not owned a wetsuit before, and I’m delighted with this one so far, it’s a good fit and does the job very well (sea swimming)
I really wanted to find a thin swimming wetsuit like this for warm water. While the legs fit me perfectly, the top is too tight around the neck and shoulders. I had to return this, as I was certain it was going to cause me pain during swimming.
Returned as decided it was pointlessly thin for UK seas.
I tried a 40, and a 42( that's a M, and M/L in uk, i think) . The fabric is thin, but feels robust enough when Im a uk 12/14, and unfortunately the sizing was all wrong for me. Either neck and sleeves were too tight(M), or body/legs were too loose(M/L. But both sizes were made for someone with narrow shoulders. Since most swimmers are a likely to be broader in the shoulders than the average person, this seemed a bit odd. Both sizes going back. Great product if you are the right size, but chaff alert for most of us, i suspect
I bought size M but tons of water came in through my wrists, so I changed it for a size S but it's still leaking especially from the wrists, not keeping me that warm at all... THis can't be normal surely?
Thank you for your recent feedback. We are sorry to hear that you discovered some issues with our OWS100 wetsuit. This model has been designed for use in the warm open waters above 20°C. The arms are made with coated mesh material to provide UV protection and maximum freedom of movement compare to the classic wetsuits. Only middle part is made with the neoprene material which provides that thermal isolation and connection with the skin.
If you would like to have full thermal isolation then we suggest to go with the one model up https://www.decathlon.co.uk/ows500-w-swimming-suit-id_8487896.html where there is 2mm neoprene on the arms.

Used for a starter triathlon ease of movement great and thin enough that it did not hinder your swim
I bought this last year as I needed a wetsuit for participating in open water events. What I like about it is that it is nice and thin so keeps me warm enough without me melting in the heat waiting for a race to start. The thinner sleeves means I'm not fighting against the suit swimming front crawl. Also eases the shock of getting into cold water. Pink sleeves make me easy to spot from the shore. If you need a thicker suit for added buoyancy, take my advice and do some swimming lessons instead! I have had good success in competition with this suit.
My daughter had decided to do some open water swimming and needed some assistance on what to buy - the sales assistant was fantastic, we got exactly what we needed and didn't have to pay a small fortune either.
As an amateur triathlete I bought my first open water suit from decathlon, have done 3 open water trial swims and had to change and buy another suit as 0% buoyancy. Very poor quality due to little or no neoprene. Total waste of money in my opinion.
Thank you for your recent feedback. We are sorry to hear that our first price women's wetsuit didn't match your expectation. The Nabaiji 100 model has only 1.5-1.8 mm of neoprene in the front and back panels. It has very good flexibility but not too much of buoyancy compare to other open wetsuits on the market. Why not try the next model up? We have 500 model https://www.decathlon.co.uk/500-womens-swiming-wetsuit-4-3-mm-black-pink-id_8335921.html and Speedo model https://www.decathlon.co.uk/thinswim-20-wetsuit-black-yellow-id_8346084.html both with very good price just below £100.

This is the first wetsuit I have owned and couldn't be happier. I tried numerous ones, including thicker and surfing westuits but wanted something entry level yet good quality. This is thinner, comfortable and flexible for non-competitive outdoor swimming but still warm in cooler waters. So glad I bought a swimming specific wetsuit as you need the range of movement in the shoulders.
I do prefer to swim without a wetsuit despite the temperatures but some events make wetsuits compulsory. This suit is light and flexible and is the next best thing. The colour on the sleeves make you very noticeable in the water.

Recommendations for use
To avoid rubbing at the neck and other areas, apply Vaseline or a mixture of 50% Vaseline and 50% Lanolin.
Aquathermic technology:
AQUATHERMIC components integrate thermal features to reduce thermal shock when entering the water, and reduce the duration and intensity of the wind chill effect* when getting out of the water. They also improve body thermal insulation from the outdoors to enable you to swim longer in cold conditions.
Thermal insulation
Moreover, AQUATHERMIC components retain a thin layer of water between the skin and the fabric that will naturally warm up with body heat.
Reducing the wind-chill effect*:
Our AQUATHERMIC fabrics absorb very little water from their outer surface, providing a wind-proof effect. The dual action of windproofing and quick drying reduces the amount of time and intensity of evaporation of the water retained on the garment's surface. The water would otherwise make you shiver when you get out of the water.
