Functional sorting top...

Functional sorting top that is comfortable to wear. For running and cycling. I did not test in water. Material close to the body. I took an L, I'm doing an M and it's perfect!

Excellent!

Alright. Well cut (close to the body) and dries quickly. For my part, I appreciate the look and the pink/orange color that is easy to match and "gives you a good glow"! :)

Versatile in use, in training and competition!

For two weeks I put the top and the matching pants through their paces, swimming with and without neoprene, cycling on the racing bike and on the time machine, and of course running. The size XS fitted me well with my 165 and 57 kg. In general, the material nestles great against the skin, it is elastic and at the same time appears very robust. I especially fell in love with all the lovely details during my test. For example, the top has a large, practical and well thought-out pocket at the back. This is also sewn up at the top, so that everything in the bag is close to the body, doesn't slip back and forth and stays inside safely. The things are still easy to reach through the round recesses in the corners. By separating the large bag with two smaller ones by a seam in the middle, you can even try to keep things tidy. In addition, two layers of fabric are sewn onto the front of the top. That's pretty clever too, if you think about it. After all, when you get on a bike from the water, the middle of your body is what should be protected from the cold as much as possible. In general, when driving downhill, the top keeps the wind out and you save yourself an additional vest. Even if it gets faster, you don't have the feeling that the wind pulls on your upper body. With a bit of sunscreen, the top is also great to ride in training. Then the cyclist edges are at least a little faded from the normal jersey. The dark color wasn't a problem either, as the material is still airy enough. My only small drawback is that the silicone strip that is supposed to hold the top down is only on the back of the top. This is not a problem when cycling, everything fits as it should. It just slides up when you walk. That was okay up to a pace of about 5 min/km, but unfortunately it really started to get on my nerves below 4.30 min/km. Which doesn't mean anything for me in competitions, because unfortunately I can't race down the half marathon that quickly anyway. At some point you won't care and the pants will keep all the rolls of winter fat in place. In addition, the sliding up of TriTops is unfortunately a general problem and many clever people seem to have thought about it without really having found a solution. A start might be to attach the silicone strips to the front as well. The first thing to say is: the price-performance ratio is really unbeatable! Not only because it's a great suit for competitions, but also because it's great for everyday training. 2 in 1! A great product, especially for beginners who don't want to get straight into the triathlon material battle! I will definitely continue to wear the top in training, especially when cycling it has completely won me over.

second skin

I used this trisuit top for my 1st triathlon, with the matching Aptonia shorts (be careful, the shorts can easily be confused with the ones from b'twin, but the chamois is thinner), and I was satisfied with the use. It doesn't interfere with the practice of the 3 sports (I had it under the wetsuit for swimming), and dries quickly. The back pocket to slip a snack is practical. The "adhesive" strips on the cuff of the bottom make it possible to hold the bottom of the top in place on the matching shorts, but this is not the case on another short (I used it in training with shorts of lambda running, and the bottom of the top only went up). Remains that the color, because only available in pink: it will perhaps be necessary to evolve a little on the mentalities, because no, the girls do not exclusively wear pink... it is even the color that I hate the most!

Should i put on an additional suit to swim?

Yes … and no.The neoprene suit provides buoyancy, an asset for the swim leg. Good to know: The French Triathlon Federation forbids isothermal swimsuits when the water temperature is above 75°F and makes them compulsory when the temperature goes below 61°F. Between 61 and 75°F, it's up to you.

What is the difference between a triathlon suit and a top + bottom?

A practical difference, not a technical one: with a separate top and bottom, pee breaks will be faster than with a suit. You can also change the combinations, for example use a cycling jersey, a running T-shirt, etc. In terms of comfort however, there's no difference between a top and bottom and a suit: the material provides more comfort for the cycling section.

Is it necessary to wear a sports bra under this triathlon top?

Yes, we recommend you wear a sports bra under this triathlon top to support your breasts.
