Product Customer Reviews

Great wetsuit. I am 5 10 165lb bought a M and use it for kitesurfing in low 50F air with a neoprene top. It is the first wetsuit I have owned that does not get any water in ankles or upper body. I do a lot of tricks and there is no restraint. On the subject of stretch it will stretch but it needs to be tight to perform its functions. After a few uses it or in warmer air it now stretches just enough and also I got used to put it on and off without breaking my fingers. I would only be concerned if you have very wide shoulders or thick ankles and wrists.
Hi Marco,
Thanks a lot for your feedback, we really appreciate it.
Have fun with this wetsuit and hopefully see you on the water.

I followed the size chart recommendation of ordering one size bigger and it fit like glove.
tried one on in store. It was the right length, it went round my torso fine- but i couldn't get my arms in. whilst I've not got a zip free suit, I do have chest zip ones in other thicknesses of other brands, including a thicker one, and they're much more stretchy neoprene.
It is very hard to put on, especially over the shoulders. Nearly impossible to take off.
Just be careful buying this wetsuit it is very hard to put on
I LOVED this wetsuit, not sure why the other comments not so good, Went wing foiling in the coldest weather in HK winter (FEBRUARY) around 12 degrees air temp and 14 degree water temp and didn't feel the cold at all. Very comfortable, since there is no zip, little bit different way to wear it, but easy nonetheless.

How to choose the right wetsuit (part 1)
The 1st selection criterion when choosing a surfing wetsuit is the water temperature. Water temperature varies according to the location and the time of the year. Systematically make sure that the water temperature at your spot corresponds to the recommended temperature range: Warm water above 68°F. Temperate water between 63°F and 72°F. Cold water between 53°F and 62°F. Very cold water between 45°F and 54°F. Visit the site seatemperature.org to find out the temperature of your spot.
How to choose the right wetsuit (part 2)
The 2nd criterion to take into account is the length of your sessions. If your sessions last less than an hour, the 100 models will be suitable. For up to 2 hours, opt for the 500 models, and for up to 3 hours, the 900 models.Compared to the 100 models, the 500 models will be warmer (and more watertight) and more efficient at reducing fatigue (more freedom of movement) and irritation. The same is true for the 900 models compared with the 500 models.NOTE: The 900 models are easier to put on.
Choose the right size
To make the most of the features of your wetsuit, it is necessary to choose the correct size. A surfing wetsuit should be a very tight fit and there should be no visible folds. When dry, it is perfectly normal to feel like it is too tight; this discomfort disappears as soon as the wetsuit gets wet. If you choose a wetsuit that is too big, folds will appear, you will experience irritation, and thermal comfort will be reduced (letting in water).
Return policy
Any doubts regarding the wetsuit size you should choose when placing your order? Returns and exchanges are free at the customer service desk in our stores for a period of 365 days if your purchase is recorded on your Decathlon account. You can also return your wetsuit through the mail or at a pick-up point by printing your return form on our website, in: My Purchases. In such a case, you are responsible for the cost of returning the items.
Materials
OLAIAN 900 wetsuits are made from 100% ultra-stretch neoprene, to guarantee improved comfort during use and a high level of freedom of movement. The neoprene is lined with synthetic fabric for increased resistance to wear.Neoprene thickness: 3 mm and 2 mmThe neoprene is made from an elastomer foam with insulating properties. We test and guarantee the quality of our neoprene materials.
Collar
The neck finish has been developed to limit irritation. According to the sensitivity of the wearer, a UV top can be worn under the wetsuit to reduce the risk of irritation. The application of grease (e.g. Vaseline) in friction areas (neck, armpits, knees) is also recommended if wearing the wetsuit for long periods.
Maximum freedom of movement
The 900 OLAIAN men's wetsuit range offers a style and material specifically chosen to facilitate paddling and fully ease movement especially during “Take Off”.The entire wetsuit is made from ultra-stretch neoprene. All the seams are stretch seams. The front zipper totally frees up the back during use.
Fastening
The fastening system with a front zipper ensures freedom of movement while providing a better watertight seal than a traditional back zipper. The zipper pull is made from stainless steel so as to resist the corrosive effects of salt water.
Watertight assembly
The seams are stitched & glued for a watertight seal & durability. The seams are ”blind-stitched,” meaning the thread does not entirely pass through the neoprene, preventing water from getting through. To further enhance the watertight seal and durability of the assembly of our 900 ranges, they are fully taped on the inside. The absence of threads on the inside also avoids irritation and chafing. Patches for comfort and reinforcement are strategically placed on the inside in sensitive areas.
Product testing
Developed and tested by our design teams in Hendaye, France. The components used for this product are laboratory-tested to ensure the best possible quality and durability.
Storage instructions
In a dry, well-ventilated place. Avoid heat sources. To extend the life of your wetsuit, do not leave it out to dry in direct sunlight. Machine washing is not recommended.
