Great product
great jacket for mid season, practical with lots of pockets and covers the lower back, very good value for money
tested in rides in winter when there is not much rain
Cool winter jacket but never ever is it a normal size xl
Personally, I am very satisfied with this jacket, it is warm even in relatively cold weather and can withstand even minor showers. The jacket has several different types of pockets that can fit a lot of things. I would be careful when choosing a size (I had to buy a size bigger than I normally buy).
I only wore it twice, unbreathable, we are soaked underneath...
Great product, nothing to complain about.
Great jacket for mild winters and cool springs. Very comfortable to wear except for the back which goes down too low, the numerous pockets are very useful. However there is a lack of breathability during the efforts.

Light and comfortable
A good spring jacket.
In mid-June, I took this jacket to ride from the geographical center monument to challenge westward to Wuling, and it has a good thermal effect when the temperature drops. Although there is no way to store it in a cushion bag or a car pocket like a small windproof vest, I used the space of two pockets to store this jacket, but this one does have enough warmth.
In my opinion, it works well with temperatures > 3° but with the right thermal shirt. Below this temperature, in my opinion, thermal comfort decreases - of course, the opinion is subjective because the feeling of cold is an individual matter. Nevertheless, a product of good quality and at this price worth recommending.

As you can see in these photos, we decided to make the jacket longer in the back. The reason is simple: to protect your cycling tights and your backside from road spray.Another advantage is that we were able to position the pockets lower so that you don't have to twist your arm to put something in or take something out while cycling.
What is the pro fit design?
Pro Fit is a cycling garment design from Van Rysel. It's a design made for high-performance cyclists who want cycling clothes that are close-fitting without being constricting.This jacket is designed to be worn over a technical base layer. If you plan on wearing it over 2 layers, we recommend buying 1 size larger than your usual.Our Pro Fit design is for those cycling regularly. If you think you might need a jacket with a bit more volume, buy 1 size larger than your usual.

Which jacket should you choose?: racer or racer xtrem?
These 2 jackets are very different. The Racer weighs 12 oz whereas the XTREM weighs double that at 1.5 lbs. The Racer is a close-fitting jacket that is very effective for riding in spring, autumn, or mild winter weather. But in temperatures below 45°F, it starts to show its limits, and that is when we turn to the XTREM.Note that these jackets are water-repellent, not waterproof. So we recommend taking along an ultralight rain jacket if there is a chance of rain.
Care tips
In order to keep your jacket looking impeccable year after year, we recommend that you machine wash it with an 86°F synthetics cycle. Close the zippers before washing your jacket.Don't tumble dry, and don't use fabric softener! Don't dry clean it either.Line dry it in a well ventilated area.

Our jackets were tested over the 2019-2020 winter season by experienced cyclists in the Ardennes (Belgium), and here in Lille (France). These jackets are the result of a collaborative effort between our design teams and feedback from 20 cyclists from inside and outside Decathlon.
