These fit well and are attractive.
Can’t actually give a correct rating as these will be returned. Sizing is completely wrong on the website. Size 10 FR 40 - as shown when ordering - arrived as Size 14 FR40. We are now struggling to return these as the Returns page doesn’t show this item as being included in our original shipment. Not impressed!
I ordered these in a size 16, when they came all the European sizes matched the description on the label, but the label said GB 20. so there is some disparity on the sizing. They are definitely closer to a 20 than a 16.
Looking for a uk18 ski trouser seemed like the same level of challenge as completing Ninja Warrior course! These trousers were a good fit for a curvy and experienced skier. To be fair, the weather was mild so no need to test the heat eating much. Only downside might be length of the leg - I’m relatively tall at 5’7” but not all size 18 ladies will need the tall trouser! They were perfect for a week on the Italian slopes. Roll on my next mountain adventure - at least I’m confident I’ve got the gear to tackle it!

They're a weird material and very low wasted... pretty tight around my very average thighs too. I returned them and bought a slightly more expensive version from the mens range. Weird as I've bought decathlon ski trousers in the past and they were a 100 x better quality.
Ordered UK 10.. came with GB 14.. size feels somewhere in between. Will return unfortunately.
Trousers look great, but have to return as way too big! Ordered a uk 10. I did wonder when it says this is equivalent to French 40…… The labelling says French 40 equals GB 14. Very confusing. I’m going to reorder, but not really sure what size to go for. Some advice would be greatly appreciated.
Never used them, looked more like rain trousers than ski pants.
These kept me warm in c. -5C conditions (with thermal leggings underneath - although I do really feel the cold) and still comfortable in c. +5C. They are comfortable (I am an 8-10 and found the 10 a much more comfortable fit - there's not any give really in the waistband) and the removable straps are useful too. Having got stuck on a steep slope and slid all the way to the bottom (on my bottom!) I can confirm these are also as snow/water-proof as could be hoped for!

Eco-design
We have improved this product with an eco-design approach:Firstly, by using a dope dye process when possible and by using a maximum of recycled fibres. The black colour is made from 17% recycled material and 49% dope dyed, lowering CO2 impact by 27%. As for the white colour, it is made of 49% recycled material and 18% dope dyed.
Why use recycled polyester?
By recycling plastic bottles or textiles to produce our polyester, we reduce the use of petrol-based resources while keeping the material's breathability in practice.
What is dope dyeing?
Textile dyeing requires a lot of water but also produces waste water from the dye baths. To reduce this environmental impact, we opted for a bulk dyeing process that involves adding the colour pigments when the yarn itself is being produced.
What components are used to give my trousers warmth?
To help keep you warm, we use recycled wadding insulation (60g/sqm). This synthetic polyester-based wadding traps more or less air, depending on the size of its fibres, to insulate you from the cold.
How is comfortable temperature measures?
We lab-test each of our products so that we can provide you with a indicative value on the item's comfort. This comfort indicator is measured without tights for trousers, and with a thermal t-shirt and a fleece for jackets. The measurement indicated is that of the external temperature in which the testers are neither warm, nor cold. Of course, this perceived temperature varies in line with the intensity of the activity and the metabolism of the individual.
How should i dress to avoid having cold legs on the slopes?
To keep your legs warm and dry, 2 layers of clothing are enough: - 1 ski base layer to wick away perspiration.- 1 ski trouser to protect against bad weather and provide warmth.
What is the coating?
The coating is a waterproofing material spread over the inner surface of a fabric. It prevents water from seeping into the garment but allows the water vapour produced by the body's physical activity to escape. So you stay dry for greater comfort while practising your sport.
How is the waterproofness of your trousers measured?
The resistance of a fabric is measured by the height of a water column in mm that can be supported by the fabric (test based on the ISO 811 standard). The higher the pressure, the more waterproof the fabric. This component has a waterproof rating of 5000mm is therefore resistant to the pressure exerted by a 5000mm column of water.For skiing, we advise components rated 3000 to 20,000 mm. Plus, here at Decathlon, we lab-test all of our waterproof products. This product has a score of 2/5.
Product testing
All Wedze products are conceived, designed and developed in the Mont Blanc Valley. They are then tested under identical usage conditions to those you will encounter yourself (in the snow, cold and powder snow, etc.). The design teams make sure the programme for which the product is designed and developed tallies perfectly with its real-world use.
Storage instructions
Store preferably on a hanger and do not fold, as this damages the fabric. Dry thoroughly before storing in a dry and well-ventilated place.
