It's a nice pair of boots, but I find it pretty uncomfortable to walk with. I believe if it was shorter, like just above the ankles, it would have been fine. Maybe if it was a little wider the back of my legs wouldn't keep hitting against it. It starts being uncomfortable then hurtful after a long walk. Too bad because they look good, are light and warm.
Used on holiday during winter in Iceland, highly recommend.
It’s too lightweight
Have had these boots for about 6 years and wore them throughout two Winters, daily, while outside running doggy daycare. Totally snug, comfortable and waterproof. Just showing signs of ware now so am about to purchase a new pair! Amazing value for money!

Ordered these on Saturday and arrived on the Monday so amazing delivery service, wore them today in the snow and ice and i really cant fault them, warm, sturdy and grips really well
I work outdoors with dogs all day long and these boots were okay for the first month but now we have hit the really bad weather they are not water proof! They are probably rain proof but certainly not fully waterproof, my feet are soaking
I really like these boots as they are easy to fasten and undo with the Velcro flaps. They are warm and keep your feet dry. On my third time of wearing them something is rubbing on the right foot and gave me a blister. I’m hoping this will go and I will be able to wear them again, I can feel see a ridge or feel one with my hand but it feels like there is one. Otherwise I love them.

Lovely walking boots. Very comfortable and feel like slippers on. Hard rubber sole and good grip. Would definitely recommend. Didn't realise they came in a childs size 5 (38) other wise I would have go them instead as they are £10 cheaper for exactly the same boots!

Can i be sure that my boots are warm enough for my winter hikes?
We chose a warm lining that has insulation to give you effective protection from the cold. We also tested them in a laboratory and in the field with representative users. We have checked down to which temperature it remains comfortable when you don't move and when you are walking, as this varies considerable: 28°F when still and 7°F when moving. And we have taken into account the different perception between man and women.
How do my boots protect me from outdoor conditions?
Your boots were designed with a membrane to make them waterproof and breathable. A membrane is a very fine component (5 to 25 micrometers) affixed to the inside of a fabric that prevents water from entering while allowing moisture to escape.
How can i be sure my boots are 100% waterproof?
We made sure that your boots are waterproof by conducting laboratory tests to simulate walking with the boots half submerged in water. We also conducted field tests to measure wear and aging. During the waterproofing test, we test 3 levels of waterproofing: 2000 flexes (about 2.5-mile walk), 4000 flexes (about 5-mile walk) and 8000 flexes (about 10-mile walk). Your boots were tested to 4000 flexes, which is equivalent to 5 miles of walking.
What is water repellency and how can you maintain it?
The traction of the boots depends on the number and shape of the lugs. Traction depends on the materials and ridges used on the soles, like your car's tires. Traction optimizes propulsion, prevents the boot from slipping backward when going uphill and stabilizes the boot. Grip prevents the boot from slipping and skidding on smooth ground or in demanding conditions (rain, snow, ice) by giving grip to the sole.
Will my boots withstand regular use over the long term?
Our engineers conduct laboratory tests to fully guarantee your satisfaction in use. We validate the following elements among other things: strength of the eyelets and straps, strength of the glued assemblies, toxicology, UV resistance, abrasion resistance of the sole and upper components and accelerated aging.
How should i choose my footwear for hiking in the snow?
To be well equipped in winter, we recommend that you follow these principles : Warmth: increase heat with warm socks (ideally with a suitable % of wool) Breathability: Choose your socks depending on the intensity of the hike and wear breathable models to limit damp. Height of the boots: adapt the height of the socks to the height of the upper and prefer high models if you need more protection.
How to preserve the technical qualities of my boots?
The water repellency of a fabric is its ability to let the water slide off its surface, without absorbing it. In this way, the fabric does not soak up water and therefore remains lightweight, breathable and warm. Water repellency is obtained by a treatment applied on the outer surface of the fabric. This treatment needs to be renewed during the lifetime of the garment. Products (sprays and liquids) are available in our stores.
How does my product warranty work?
This product is guaranteed for 2 years from the date shown on the receipt. A product covered by the warranty will be exchanged free of charge. The warranty covers product defects, excluding those resulting from normal wear and tear and improper use.
