Nice lightweight mat with good carrying handle. Non slip Tends to curl under at the ends though
Happy with this product, thick enough

Behind my non stick frying pan this is the second most slippery thing in my house If you desire this disconcerting feeling of your hands gently sliding away from you whilst in plank/down dog this is the product for you Somehow manages to be worse than the wipe clean children's play mat I was using before Tried giving it a gentle soap and water wash to get the mold release agent off of it and it doesn't really make a difference Really don't think this should be for sale, it would be easy to do permanent damage to your joints if a foot slid out at the wrong moment Also wanted to give this 0 stars but that wasn't an option, negative stars would be appropriate as it is worse than the floor it is being put on

Had read reviews about this mat and decided to buy it because people said it wasn’t slippery.... how wrong they are! This mat looks and feels good to start with but as soon as you do stretches such as downward facing dog your hands slip away regardless of where you place them. It’s slippery! As soon as stores open I will be returning it because not only is it slippery but it marks with the slightest touch and I have the navy one! I can only imagine how bad the other bright colours get after just one use.
Upon first receiving this mat, I was quite happy with its length and lightness. However, I found it really slippery, particularly when doing downward dog, during which my hands just slowly slide away. I used it again a couple of times, but it is just really unpleasant. My husband used it as well, and agrees with me. A waste of money...
Highly recommend this mat - i do Yoga and Pilates on it - ideal in Covid times. Also comes with a " a handle" for easy carrying to and from the gym
Lovely mat with lines to keep feet in correct place. Also extra long compared to other mats. Great price too.
Good all rounder great for Balance Class and Yoga
I used this mat a couple of times and it does the job. My main mat is the studio 5mm which is excellent and I use this mat as a travel mat when I practice outdoors or in the studio. Obviously the grip is not the same as the studio mat but for lower intensity classes or beginner yogi it's a good choice.

I purchased this mat in store after travelling some distance to the Decathlon store. I wish I had read reviews online before making the journey. I selected this mat out of the selection available in the Wednesbury store based upon it seeming to have a nice grippable surface. Price was not the issue, as none of the mats in store were priced at all. In fact it looked as though there was no order to the display at all. I class myself as practicing gentle yoga but I can't even stand on all fours without my hands slipping away which is very distracting. I am so disappointed as I was really looking forward to working out at home and I am left with a product that is not fit for purpose, or another hours journey back to store to return it. Wish I hadn't bothered!

Choosing your yoga mat
- Do you have a gentle yoga practice (hatha, restorative, prenatal, nidra, etc.)? Transitions are slower and poses are less physically intense. A mat between 5 and 8 mm thick will provide enough cushioning for your cervical spine and joints. - Do you do dynamic yoga (Ashtanga, vinyasa, Iyengar, hot yoga, Bikram, etc.)? Transitions are fast and the intensity is high. A mat up to 5 mm thick will give you better grip and stability for balance.
