so far the best of the jute yoga mat I tried in terms of surface texture, cushioning and grip. smell is understandable; smell of natural rubber - indication that the material used is authentic natural non-synthetic polymer.
Very comfortable and pleasant
I used it once and am thinking of returning it. It hurt and irritated my feet a lot..it's a pretty hard material because it's rubber..it hurt me

Adhesion on the mat, which is the most important detail, is not good. It makes your feet sweat and slip. I could never use
It is a good mat that grips the floor perfectly. It is compact and easy to store or take it along to a yoga studio. However, I am dissatisfied with the top layer, my hands and feet slip due to sweat in case of power/hot yoga. So, I still need to keep a towel handy to wipe or use it on top of the mat in order to keep a good grip. It is not the value for money that I expected.
The grip is very good but not the best. because it is a mixed rubber It's not pure rubber, inexpensive, good quality, durable, like that the material is environmentally friendly.
It smells very bad, despite all airing and washing.
Mat sits flat when unrolled and doesn't slip during use. Comfortable enough for yin poses too.
Good absorbent product. Good adhesion to the floor. The carpet is heavy so the edges are spread out flat so no further adjustments are needed. I bought this product mainly for home workouts and tabata exercises, so the amount of sweat secreted is a lot, so it is sometimes a bit slippery, and those who practice yoga are probably better because the mat is better absorbent. Overall, I am quite satisfied with the quality of the product. ps: I don't know if I should use cleaning solution to clean the carpet?

Product refunded the smell was not bearable
The skin that comes into contact with the yoga mat for a short time is full of pungent smell, and the smell lingers for a long time. If you touch your face with water after touching it, the more sensitive parts such as the eyelids will be very painful! ! Flushing with lots of water also only slowed it down a bit (it happened several times to be sure). I came back to the product introduction because I was very troubled and had doubts. Looking at it, I feel very unhappy! I thought it was natural before taking it lightly! Only after seeing the store’s comments and replies did I realize that there are protective glue and adhesives! And it turns out that the pungent smell is not the natural rubber smell mentioned on the website. (If the webpage is not special, others will be vigilant) So maybe the main components of the product are natural, but obviously the remaining unexplained things are very problematic!
It doesn't smell bad, good mat, non slip.
I was searching for the mat that will suit my needs, and this one is seriously perfect for dinamic yoga, and say goodbye forever to problems with slippy hands.. Provides excellent stability! Before buying it, I was reading reviews here, and some people mentioned smell, well, it does have a certain smell, but it doesn't bother me really, it's the usual rubber smell... Nothing more or less, so I really recommend this mat!

Choosing your yoga mat
- Do you have a gentle yoga practice (hatha, restorative, prenatal, nidra, etc.)? Transitions are slower and poses are less physically intense.A mat between 5 and 8 mm thick will provide enough cushioning for your cervical spine and joints.- Do you do dynamic yoga (Ashtanga, vinyasa, Iyengar, hot yoga, Bikram, etc.)? Transitions are fast and the intensity is high. A mat up to 5 mm thick will give you better grip and stability for balance.
Does the rubber smell?
Rubber has a natural odor. Some love it; others not so much. If you fall into the latter camp, know that it fades away with time. Our tip: let your mat air out a bit before using it.Rubber is also recommended if you have latex allergy, latex being included in lot of yoga mats.
Storage instructions
Do not leave in the sun as natural rubber will dry out and lose its grippiness.
